Olbermann: Dolphins facing Saints like punishment

everybody is trying to compare this to something...a rape victim, bounty gate, the Eagles situation Riley Cooper

everyone who wants to be the first to break a new part of this story...and every big media market is covering their own ass' by being on Martin's sad and saying he is the victim.

even the NFL.com piece where Ricky said flat out the Jonathan wasn't cut out for the NFL, the writer of the story ended with the tune of Ricky is letting Cogs and Philbin off the hook

The hysterical aspect is posters have no clue what it takes to be on Olbermann's level and put on a daily analytical and opinionated show with varied topics. The fact that he's thrived in both sports and politics is remarkable. He's an extreme talent.

Olbermann could walk over any member of this forum in that setting. I normally don't like extremes but this is not a gamble at all. There are vastly different tiers of ability. If you took anyone here and put them on a daily stage with Olbermann, he would be the one nailing the humor and perspective with ideal timing and insight. Guys here would look like glubs. They might survive a show or segment here or there that played to their strengths, but not week to week when you never know what topic will surface.

Olberwoman is the worst person on tv. Why bring up Tannehill.....this would be like blaming Tom Brady for Hernandez. This is some crazy ****.

:lol2: Yea, nobody could ever get to that low a level to ever be at the same point as that arrogant pea-brain....I wonder how many mirrors he has around him.

As I watch him (On those rare times, that I need a laugh or two), a certain famous movie newscaster reminds me so much of him...BE CLASSY NFL.

Ron Burgandy is a rocket scientist compared to that nut job.

Give me his staff and interns to research topics for me ahead of time, and let me pick and choose both my guests and the questions that will be asked, and I'll take that bet.

He had to crawl back to ESPN with his tail stuck between his legs because he was the lowest rated show on the lowest rated cable news network. Yes, he was rated lower than Rachel Maddow and that hot air balloon Ed Schultz. That's saying something.

Obama got re-elected. He had nothing more to bitch about. So he decided to take his winy statist agenda to the sports world, which ESPN of course thrives on and enables.

Too often the people behind the curtains don't get enough credit for a show or persons success

Have no clue why ESPN brought Olbermann back...

I have asked myself that question every day since they brought him back....must have some pictures of Boomer and a Buffalo in very compromising positions.

Olbermann basically went through the story timeline and even took a shot at Omar's credibility because what he is reporting today is different then what he reported on Saturday.

Olbermann said there are reports and that the team is hinting at firing Philbin. Also compared it to the Saints scandal and that the Dolphins could be hit with the same punishment or something worse.

So the OP exaggerated, what a shock.
