Olbermann: Dolphins facing Saints like punishment

I am betting talking heads stop with this story on Tuesday. Possibly Wednesday because of mnf talk on Tuesday. They will have their ratings and will move on until a final decision is made by the NFL

What I am afraid of is the NFL taking the rest of the year to make its determination. As a fan, I wish they'd hurry up with this so I can figure out who I want fired. lol

The only reason I see the NFl going nuclear on the Dolphins is if we try and stonewall them like the Saints did. The biggest problem right now is the NFL is onboard with this Nationwide Anti-Bully campaign, NFL Ambassadors Against bullying, players like Ray Rice, DeShawn Jackson etc. So it looks really bad and ruins the message if one of your franchises has a bullying scandal while you are telling kids not to do it.

Olbermann is the biggest airbag in the media. A complete waste of space IMO. I cannot stand the man. He has no idea what he is talking about. Some of the staff may ultimately lose their jobs depending on the final findings but at this point no one knows what those are. He is making up stuff as usual at this point.

Theres murmuring of stuff that isnt even out yet. Hyde kind of hinted at it the other day when he said this is all going to look like Kindergarden once the real stuff comes out. I think its about to come out

I saw that tweet. I'm holding onto my seat just waiting to see how much worse this thing can get...

Breaking news in this saga and Olbermann will have more on his show tonight. Likely means lengthy suspensions/firings for Philbin, Ireland, Sherman and Turner. Wouldn't be surprised if guys like Pouncey and Tannehill get some sort of punishment.

Forget looking forward to the draft next year, Goodell will be taking away our first round pick. Maybe even our second round pick.

This will not happen. The others possibly but Goddell will not be taking any of our picks and Pouncey and RT will not be reprimanded. These are obvious

At this point my biggest concern is draft picks. If Ireland and Philbin have to be sacrificed but we don't lose draft picks, so be it. The draft picks are the biggest thing going forward.

The sky is not falling. If the Saints didn't lose draft picks for trying to take people out then how would the Dolphins be any different? This isn't as nearly severe and it's time to use common sense around here.

With Roger Goodell, nothing is obvious. I agree that it's extremely unlikely that the team will be stripped of draft picks, especially if Steve Ross acts swiftly against those shown to have done wrong, but Roger Goodell can always put on his tinpot cap and do whatever he feels like doing.

I cant see draft picks being taken. But I think alot of this will be how Ross handles it.

It is severe, but in a different way. Both Spygate and Bountygate were bad in that they involved taking away competitve advantages over other NFL teams, and affected those teams they played directly, while the Bullygate only involves the Dolphins and does not hurt any other NFL teams. Plus, the Dolphins did not waste any time in submitting this to the league and asking them for help. We all understand that when teams discipline players in house, the NFL never gets involved and disciplines a second time.

People please relax. We will not lose any draft picks over this.

The Saints had two second round picks taken away from them. Would have been one first round pick, but the Saints had already traded away their pick to the Patriots.

The more I hear from Olbermann, the more I think that he went to the Morton Downey Jr. School of Journalism.

Thats because he is king of the left wing nut jobs.

Goodell will do whatever Robert Kraft tells him to do
