I'm 49.....Been a Dolphin fan since 1970.....How many other Dolphin fans here around
my age, considering what our team has done the last decade, are starting to have that
sickning feeling,we might NEVER see another SuperBowl win?

53 and each year always hopeful that next year starts the turn around. I have been a fan since 70 as well when they drafted Jim Mandich.

Yo!! I'm 54 been a fan since 1972. Seems like we have been going around in circles for years and years.

at least you guys have seen super bowls. younger phin fans(and a Jet fan like myself) may never see a SB and you guys saw multiple wins and more apps.

I'm 37 and never saw Miami win any SBs and even I have the feeling I'll never see Miami win a SB in my life!

Yeah, as I have heard older people earlier in my life "Those were the good old days."

48....Seemed like we may have turned a corner just a short month ago. Now it looks like we may be into the same old rut. It almost makes me yearn for the days of ole predictable Wannyball when at least we were good but not good enough. Marino and the gang had some crappy teams but at least were exciting to watch. This team seems entirely devoid of leaders. Where have you gone Don Shula...the Dolphins Nation turns its lonely eyes to you...

I'm 46 and have been a fan since 1970. Yeah, I wonder if I'll see a Dolphin Super Bowl team again, but I think it's easier to turn it around in the NFL than it is in other sports, even if it's just a one-year fix. I don't think much of Ross as an owner -- I think he genuinely likes owning the team and wants to win, I just don't think he has the acumen -- but I think even he could get lucky with a GM and/or coach, and, if he did that, Miami would be an attractive location for good players. Ross just needs to be surrounded by knowledgeable people without an agenda or at least a controlled ego. I think he'd accept good advice if he knew where to get it.

With the parity in the league it certainly is tougher. I also remember the Jets Super Bowl victory and the sensation that Joe Namath caused. His Noxzema Shaving Cream commercial with Farrah Fawcett was immensely popular and stands out more than the pantyhose scandal for me.

42 here. I was a Fin at 1, when my mom put a Fins t shirt on me. Followed them since I can remember. I loved the Sundays when Danny would play and it would be like magic when he went to work.
It lloks like year two of Tanny Philbin was promising. 1st year jitters gone from both. I thought both men were smart. But a bad o-line screwed it all up. Tanny shares blame for being unable to hold onto the ball, and Philbin for his sloth in the NE game where WE were using up so much clock, we got a delay of game penalty down 10.
I've lost faith this season after buffalo and NE. The team needs to do SOMETHING to get me back.

47 here and fan since '72 (too long of a story to explain), but I've had that "sickening" feeling since Wanstache took over. Sadly, I too see no light at the end of this tunnel. Oh and Cub fan too - ugh.

I'm jealous of you older guys. I'm 34, so I've never seen this franchise do anything of consequence in my life. I was 5 years old the last time they played in a Super Bowl, so I have no memory of it at all. I'm starting to think I'll never see this team win a Super Bowl in my lifetime.

Man you really got it bad being a Cub fan too.
