Are we looking at Simon and Couch because there are no upgrades we can make to offense?

The offense is improving. The defense has holes.

that's some backwards stuff right there. can you honestly say that the defense deserves more improvement than the offense?

Our D looks like it has some holes stopping the run and defending the long ball, but we created a bunch of that letting people go. The offense has been unbalanced within itself and in relation to the D for a long time. The D can keep us in games, but the O will have to win them.

Although this is an exciting year for sure, it is tiring to just be in the game.

No the point is the offense has much more established youth than the defense does. The D needs help on the DL and in the secondary, especially at CB. I really hope Edwards gets cut and not Richards or we're in some trouble.

probably not the starters , but like saban has stated we need better depth on defense

Dan Neil, if it's not too much lol
the guy has been in the league about 10 years. And he plays RG, which is a position where Hadnott will man for quite a number of years. I say we need to bring in a center that can play better than McKinney...there has got the be one out there better than McKinney, right?

David Bradnt may be somebody we might me interested in. He was a back-up center last year under coach HH in San Diego. And he got released today. He would be somebody who would not have to come in and learn a new system since he is very familiar with coach Houch O-line philosophy.

I would bring in Pete McMahon for a tryout-(rookie g/t from Iowa i think, cut by Oakland).. what could it hurt.

Dan Neil, the dirty Denver Guard is avaliable
For a reason he is available. Do you think Denver would have let him go if he was healthy?
