The offense is improving. The defense has holes.

Good point, but didn't Bates say that the D needed more help than the O before he left?

Our D looks like it has some holes stopping the run and defending the long ball, but we created a bunch of that letting people go. The offense has been unbalanced within itself and in relation to the D for a long time. The D can keep us in games, but the O will have to win them.

Although this is an exciting year for sure, it is tiring to just be in the game.

Run defense is fine. The only problem with our run defense, is the backside has stay at home. The backside has to contain and watch for the runningback to cut back. This is Run Defense 101, it shouldn't be hard to correct.
