to embarrass the Miami Dolphins organization and it's fans to no end.

I had to go somewhere tonight and I get in my car and turn on Sirius NFL Radio and lo and behold Omar is on their going off on the organization and bringing national attention and more embarrassment to our organization. Omar is the one that suggested we go after Brett Favre...and he won't let it die. He went on a rant that started from the Jimmy Johnson era all the way up to now. Then he has the audacity to suggest we should have brough Matt Leinart in for a look...SERIOUSLY!?

Omar was so bad that the next caller said that Omar needed to go on suicide watch. If the guy can't get a grip he really needs to quit and go be the beat writer for some other team. The national attention we've gotten from booing Henne (which won't die now) at practice on Monday, the Kyle Orton trade that didn't happen (count me happy about that one) and the stupid crap about Favre being a possibilty has put the Dolphins in the national media for all the wrong reasons.

Awful.

I usually hate Omar, but I'm loving this ****. The more negative he brings the more rabid the fan base will be when the season begins and the more they'll begin calling for heads everywhere early on in the season.

Omar is rallying the troops. It's time to turn this thing around.

O brother - trade the draft for Orton JCane - let's get this party started then - WOW!

I didn't hear the rant, but based on your description it's hard to disagree. We HAVE been an embarrassment post Jimmy Johnson. You're talking about one of the most successful franchises in all of sports degrading into a laughing stack in a matter of 1 decade. This isn't on the fans or the reporters--it's on the owners, the GMs, and the coaches. THEY have failed us. They are lucky to have us as fans.

If we had competent people running the show like in New England, or Green Bay, or Atlanta, would Omar be suggesting we pick up Brett Favre? Point the blame where it's deserved.

And by the way, there isn't a national attention about booing Henne. No one gives a **** about Henne. Or the Dolphins. We are irrelevant. People give a **** about the Pats, the Packers, the Eagles, the Jets, the Steelers. It may be a big story in South Florida, but it's not a big story nationwide.

All we gotta do is win and it all goes away.. the media loved us when we went 11-5 and when we started 2-0 last season after beating a Vikings team that everyone thought was a playoff team

Hey, remember when Omar Kelly was relevant? Ya, me neither.

Omar Kelly blows

I really wish the paper would replace him....just with someone who doesnt hate being the Fins beat writer. I almost think he relishes when something goes bad with the team.

Omar didn't "suggest" we get Farve. DAVID HYDE DID!

If your gonna rip the guy, have the facts right at least

I usually take Omar's rants with a grain of salt. You guys are giving him way too much credit. I actually like him from time to time, but there are other writers I am more prone to take seriously.

Seriously, even if we go down the toilet this year . . . I hope this regime takes Kelly and Armando with them. Armando couldn't tell the difference between Moore and Devlin last night and Kelly is just a complete waste of bandwith and blog space.
