The rules have changed. Along with being able to have 10 players on the PS instead of 8, any players with less than 32 games that they've been active for are now eligible for the PS.

I believe he offers better depth in playing C and both OG position, and he is young and developing.

Let's be honest; there's minimum 2-3 players cut today by other teams that will wind up on our roster. Somewhere out there is an upgrade at OL or LB vs someone on the bottom of our depth chart, if not DB too.

Unless I missed something Omar pretty much nailed it except Kyle Miller and Thigpen replaced by Darkwa and Don Jones.
