Said it before, say it again. Egnew is a decent blocker who has played FB position like Sims. When Brackett can block like those guys...well, you should get the picture by now. not holding breath.

It seems people just want to get rid of people who are associated with Irish. whatever...thats not how Lazor will look at it. He will need blockers to fortify the run game. obviously. cmon people. this is not rocket science.

With Landry doing the returns, I think Thigpen gets cut. I think they will end up keeping Daniel Thomas over Thigpen, although I am one who feels Thomas has had his chance. Other than that, I agree with the rest, but would also like to see Brown get a shot. Even if it just until Jones comes back, see what the kid can do.

I'm a little uneasy with just 4 CBs after what happened last year. I know Jimmy can play the slot in the nickel and so can Michael Thomas in a pinch but if we lose Finnegan we're going to be mighty thin.

I agree 4 CBs is very thin, but Jimmy Wilson, Walt Aikens and Mike Thomas can all play both Safety and CB roles.
I think that Jalil Brown probably gets on the practice squad, at a minimum.
I doubt that both Marcus Thigpen and Damian Williams make it. It's a good contest. Williams can do a lot more than Thiggy. But Thiggy is a tough little competitor who is holding his own pretty well. He looks very safe in catching the ball.

Add Aikens and drop Egnew and it seems reasonable, though seeing Daniel Thomas, Dallas Thomas, and Wheeler on that list by default is depressing.
