One Good Move by Ireland

yea a guy with 63 receptions for 928 yards and 9 tds is such a bust

This puts him right at 38th in the league....which means, on average, every team has at least one better receiver, and 6 have 2.

He was put in a situation to be the ALPHA MALE here in Dallas, and he completely and totally failed.

I do consider him a bust, and with the trouble he has already been in, he won't be in the league very long.

much like brandon marshall, jake long and jared odrick with us:rolleyes2:

Brandon Marshall was 10th in the league for receptions, coming from what most in here (Especially the Debbie Downers) consider 2 2nd tier QB's.

Dez Bryant is a serious headache and will be considered a bust before its all over. Already talk of wanting to trade him to some sucker here in Dallas. The trouble he has gotten in hasn't all been widely broadcast. Jerra has already had to hire guys to monitor this kid, and he's only 22?

When you consider the headache vs the production, yes, he starts borderlining on that dinstinction. He's a tremendous talent, noone will deny that, but he doesn't come up big when you need him. As mentioned, he should've been the guy when Austin went down and he never stepped up. He disappears in games even though he should be a matchup nightmare for almost any corner in the league. Aside from that, the kid has a real attitude problem and problem with authority; Deion Sanders gave up on him. Until he learns to start acting like a professional, all that talent will go down the drain like so many like him.

So if Bryant is a bust then you must view odrick as a bust also since every team has a better de than him and some have two or does bust mean something differnet in relation to our players.

I just dont see a guy with 108 receptions his first two years in the league with 15 tds a bust in any way shape or form.
I think some want him to be a bust pretty bad to justify us passing on him.

passing on a very talented wr is a huge problem when you have a system scrub like Hartline starting

A bleacherreport article with no specific details about a "possible arrest" that didn't turn out to be an arrest. Top notch journalism. Even if he were arrested for this (which he wasnt), who gives a ****? Who hasn't gotten into a bar fight before? Getting into a fight at a club is much less of a "creep" move then getting stabbed by your wife.

We don't have a QB now do we? At least not the caliber of Romo. BTW, the comment was made because all too often the comments are made that Odrick was a wasted pick because he's not going to win you games. With the assumption that, had we drafted Dez Bryant, we would be winning more. There is no empiric evidence that we would be better off with Dez Bryant than we are with Odrick and Misi.

All would agree that Bryant is a much better talent. But, referring to Hartline as a 'system scrub' is a really ignorant statement.

For all you guys supporting Bryant lets put it this way... If he was a fin you would all be up Ireland's arse. And there is 100% no doubt in my mind!
