One Good Move by Ireland

what are you...100 or something...thats before my time i guess...i'm hard pressed though to think anyone has ever been better than ap...

go get a biscuit from hardees and a senior citizens coffee

Ha. I'm sure I'm younger than you. I remember more from sims when he was with Detroit than Oklahoma. I do recall in my early youth that he was a number one pick and a Heisman winner. Not saying he was better than ap, just pointing out another example against someone saying Murray is the best rb to ever come out of Oklahoma

Say what you will about Ireland and the insulting way he handled the interview but he made the right move in bypassing on Dex Bryant. This first class creep is in trouble again. And yes, bad parenting resul,ts in troubled kids which leads to troubled adults.

I fail to see how he passed on Dez Bryant...then got Brandon Marshall (who is no saint either by the way) equate to a "good move"???

All would agree that Bryant is a much better talent. But, referring to Hartline as a 'system scrub' is a really ignorant statement.

Brian Hartline has no business starting on any team in the NFL. Him being a starter there shows Miami has all but abandoned trying to get actual talent at the position

dez a bust talk is just rediculous...but so is demarco murray the best rb to ever come out of oklahoma...bust my ***

Right, not to correct you or anything, but to be accurate, I said "Before its all over, he very well might be the best RB to come out of Oklahoma".

I don't appreciate you putting words into my mouth, especially when its so incredibly inaccurate.

Bryant can't be considered a bust at this time, I agree to that, but considering the expectations, and where he was drafted, and the fact he is flirting very very close to being suspended, not from the league, but from Society, I would say he is teetering.

Did you know that Jerra Jones had to front him a large portion of his Salary due to the fact that he ran up rediculous debt on Jewelry? There were guys named Guido in New Jersey that were seriously considering breaking his legs if he didn't pay up.
If he ends up behind bars in the next couple of years, would you then consider him a bust?

As for Demarco Murray, he's not doing much here in Dallas, except for breaking records set by a couple of RB's named Dorsett and Smith....with a very very pedestrian Front line (Smith in particular constantly ran behind All-Pro's spread out in front of him).

Harry is correct IMHO. The most complete RB I've ever seen come out of Oklahoma was definitely Billy Simms. That dude could completely truck DT's then outsprint the other 10 guys to the goal line. He was also very accomplished as a blocker and was decent coming out of the backfield before that was such a typical play.

First time for everything.

I am so glad you said that. The irony of it is that Ireland is interviewing the worst example of a parent you can ever imagine. He is interviewing Joe philbin to be the Dolphins next HC. Philbin's son who is now dead, spent 2 yrs in prison for RAPING 2 young women. How's that for bad parenting? And now he is being interviewed to become the next Head Coach of our beloved Miami Dolphins. Very ironic.

Explain exactly how the behavior, even if it is heinous in nature, is the fault of his parents?

It might be the upbringing, but I suggest, it is just as much the fault of Society in general, and without any personal knowledge of the deceased son, and how he was raised, neither of us should be taking sides.
