I don't believe Philbin nor Ireland want Manning. Ross is a meddling owner who has mishandled his team and hurt the Team's once proud reputation. I think Peyton knows this and has acted accordingly. Ross thinks he is Parcells and Ireland is a nobody GM and Ross lackey.

thanks for letting us know whats going on in the minds of ross, ireland ,philbin. when will iran end its nuclear program?

Ross is why the Dolphins haven't won games? Yikes that's news to me. We were on a pretty bad streak years before he arrived in the picture. And I haven't seen him meddle in anything more or less than a good NFL owner.

Ugh, why did I reply to anyone who lives in Tampa?!

Ross is unstable. He tries to hire a coach without firing the one he thinks is rubbish. Then he extends Sparano because he knew no one would take the job given his mishandling. Then he keeps Ireland who is viewed as a collaborator on the Sparano fiasco. Ireland is not a quality GM. Ross wants yes men. I like Philbin but Ross has already stepped on his dike by pushing Manning on him and delaying by 3 years the development of a long term QB.

Give me a break. If Ross didn't fly out to San Fran to try and get Harbaugh you would be saying he should have done everything to get Harbaugh, and F Sprano. If he just flew out there and talk to Harbaugh we would have got him. People like you just want to whine.

As far as Fisher, really? It's obvious to anyone, we were used by Fisher. If you want to blame Ross for being used, fine. But the other irrational crap, is just annoying.

Damn it, I'm replying again to someone from Tampa!

what is your excuse for the 11 other teams trying to push manning on their coaches?

Elway wants Manning and so does Whisenhunt. We hired a west coast offensive line coach as HC. Manning runs the offense if he is hired. I want Manning too but there is likely internal discord with Philbin. Manning is a 2 or 3 year situation and he will not be cap friendly.

State what your solution to the QB issue is and then we can go from there

philbin was hired to coach the personnel ireland gives him. he is a rookie head coach and never coached an nfl game, i highly doubt there will be any discord with philbin.

There are no easy answers at QB. Moore was serviceable but is not a long term solution. Trade down, get Taneyhill and another player later in first round. If Philbin wants Flynn, I get him.

You may be right. The rumors we heard early on, were that Ross was quoted to be "obsessed" with signing Manning. I however disagree that Ireland is a nobody GM........... he's going to be one in this league for a long, long time.He may become fed up if this is true. From what we know of Ross, it makes sense that he would jump at the name Peyton Manning before looking at the football side of it. It could be possible that Ross wants Manning, Philbin wants Flynn, and Ireland wants Moore/ or even Henne. Just a thought. Perhaps these mentions of our front office being whack are legit. Marino may even have unintentionally warned Peyton.

This is all just speculatiion at its finest, ofcourse.
