Can the T-shirt be silk and say "I am your ****ing messiah"?

if we lose this game, we r the same old fins.

there is no ****ing reason why we should ****ing lose at home to a depleted pats team, a pats team that lets be real, despite there 10-3 record, is not playing very well, especially in the 1st half of games, there offense looks worse than the jets, lol.

if the dolphins want to be taken seriously, u ****ing win this game. good teams win games like this one. if we lose, we r frauds, and to me personally, we r the same old fins. get teased, but at end of day, cant come through when it matters most.

I'm with you. I feel like every season you and I are involved in the playoff calculator threads around this time of year and we've been disappointed each time. It's time for us to not be disappointed. Pats are ripe for the pickings, if we're ever going to beat them this is a golden opportunity.

IMO this game is HUGE. But its not a franchise changer. A franchise changes its fortune with consistency not off the back of a single game.

So going 3-1 in the final 4 games is a disappointment, and a sham of a season? Makes no sense.

3-1 in the final 4 means ****. We need to beat the pats. Considering 9-7 and losing to the pats TWICE a successful season is idiotic. If you're happy with mediocrity just say so, but this franchise needs to be turned around and it starts Sunday. Considering the money and draft picks we had, having a 2 game improvement over last season and a 3-3 division record wouldn't be all that impressive.

It's not a "franchise changer" because we're not playing the Pats at their full strength. This is more of a potential "shoot yourself in the foot" game because a loss to the Pats means we're still non-consequential. And to all the "omg, the refs, the refs" folks, if we let this walking-dead, skeleton crew of a football team keep this game so close that a 4th quarter call could swing it for them... then shame on us. If we're for real, we bury this Pats team in Miami.

The last time we played them, they scored 17 points off carp calls. Not just 4th quarter calls either.

This wont be a single game. The magnitude of this game has been increased due to the fact that we started 3-0, fell off the face of the earth and are coming back strong after the Martin saga and all the controversy. We are riding a 2 game win streak, this game can easily lead us to losing out or can push us to win out and make some playoff noise. Just saying, if the team wasn't surrounded by drama for most of the season and we weren't so keen on taking over the division this year and earning respect, then I get your point, but we chose this road pre season and its time to put up or shut up.

I think it can be a franchise changer. If we win on Sunday , it should give this team the momentum and the confidence to carry a five game winning streak into the playoffs. It will be fun to watch this team in the playoffs. The carry over in to next season will be tremendous. We have most the pieces we need around our QB and the defense is set up pretty nice too. Next year will be the breakout season.

You my friend are my favorite poster. Everytime i see that blonde it reminds me of this chick i hooked up with, looks EXACTLY like her.

This game is not a franchise changer because win or lose i don't think we're a superbowl contender. I've seen enough this year to where we could lose the remaining 3 games.. go 7-9 and I still think we're headed in the right direction. (Depending on how we lose of course) Reason being is that like i said in a thread i started a few days ago, THIS team has at least earned my patience. They've earned the right to continue building next year. We have several promising young players Tannehill, Jordan, Vernon, Carroll, Jones, Solia, Odrick, Wallace Gibson, Clay etc... that you could build around. Tanehill being the most important. Add to the LB core maybe a Bigger bodied WR and some olineman and I believe we can compete with the best in the next year or two. Coming into this season All I wanted to know coming out is if we have a QB, and I'm closer to that answer than not. If our QB continues to improve over the next 3 games win or lose I think we're headed in the right direction

exactly, this is a golden opportunity.

i love the ppl who thumb downed my post. i mean, i guess those people are content with mediocrity year after year.

the pats do not freaking have there best offensive weapon in gronk, there defense ****ing blows, they have been shutout in a ton of game in the 1st half, and anyone who has watched them this year will have seen that despite there 10-3 record, they r pulling wins out of there asses.

miami needs this game in the most desperate way. if we cant win a game of this magnitude while facing a depleted pats team in our house, then seriously, when the **** will we?

I mostly agree with you except for one thing... coaching. Miami does have a decent core of players to build around, and with more experience and additional talent added they should be playing very good football soon, even if they lose out and go 7-9 this year. But, the coaching staff needs to go. I would not give them another day. Too many times they have been unprepared for games and started out slow, or floundered in the second half because the opponent shut down their offense. This is on the coaches.

9-7 will get you into the playoffs. Are you not understanding that?

Please be abit more original than the 'happy with mediocrity' line. I came into this season with expectations, 9-7/10-6, and pushing for a playoff spot. No where did I put a * and say, but to be complete, NE must be beaten in week 14.

The money spent and draft picks used, are your expectations. Where are those Sean "Shutdown" Smith guys? Vontae 'All Day' Davis fan boys? Its just I temper expectations based on reality. I was not on here after draft day saying Dion Jordan was going to put up Madden type numbers. This team is still in the process of building, and take away 2 offensive line men at a crucial time, in the teams chemistry and development....and we are where we are.

Absolutely not. You can't put the entire seasons growth on one game. We will have a better record than last year unless we lose out. That is progress. Tannehill has clearly improved. That is progress. Our D has caused a turnover in every single game this year. That is progress. This is a young team getting better and better. Progress. I would obviously like to make the playoffs but this team has gotten better even if we don't. By your reasoning we could lose to the Pats and be the same ol Dolphins but still make the playoffs and win the superbowl. So no, The Pats game does not decide everything or anything for that matter.
