Someone who Bill is indirectly very familiar with...since his Dad once played for him...none other than...Chris Sims....once he is cut from TB..watch and wait.

I think he might be an option, but I think it's too early to label him as THE option.

BOLD prediction: We get lucky as hell and get Brohm at 32.

Brohm is sliding down draft boards at a rapid rate and analysts are saying it could be a long, long wait for him if the Ravens pass. That would be a dream scenario.

Even if Brohm is gone (a likely scenario) I think adding McCown and the youth on our roster ensures we go with a QB in the draft.

I would not mind looking at Sims although dont be suprised if Texans dont make arun so they can trade Rosenfels.

The way Rosenfels has played makes me wish we kept him

Parcells already signed of the "guys" he is familiar with...MATT BAKER...so we'll see if this is just another practice squad player. I also see another QB named Casey Bramlet on the roster. I have no idea who that is

Not so fast my friend, Beck will most likely win the starting Qb job, Mcnown is young and is considered the veteran, and the fins might draft a qb this year, to learn the offense, the only mistake cam made was not starting beck earlier in the season, I think you have to give beck a mulligan for this year. Even the most experienced Qb would have had a difficult time last year.

I would love Flacco at #32. I don't care if Brohm slides down to us, the guy to develop is Flacco. The other guy I would consider is Henne he looks like a guy you could work with also. All that being said I think Beck deserves a real shot this year. He has a strong arm and is accurate. Brohm and Ryan seem like Fiedler and Pennington, more noodle arm guys. No thanks.
