(Opinion) Trey Lance To The Dolphins?

didnt he have 5 picks today?

Stop it with the facts.
Since when has facts, performance, fit and ability ever stopped fan boys wanting the Dolphins to sign their “find”
God help us all when the knicker wetters start going through the players cut by the other teams the front page will be full of “Why haven’t we signed…………(insert name of under performing/aged/decrepid/ player here)”

Bring Tannehill home please he's got to be better than Thompson or White

I’m an old git. Given I could take a snap, hand it off or throw a lateral I’m better than Thompson or White. At least there wouldn’t be any incompletions or interceptions.
I’d want a good O line though because I’m a bit slower than Tua, I haven’t seen a thread on the O line for ages, well seconds anyway.

Here are 4 QBs that I’m a fan of who could probably be obtained:

- Malik Willis
- Desmond Ridder
- Trey Lance
- Joe Milton

Absolutely none of them are a good fit for Miami.

With the Dolphins offence being a timing offence I doubt Lance would fit in. He's still throwing behind receivers in Dallas who aren't as quick as Hill & Waddle.

Consider though that SF runs the same offense, and Shanahan had to have studied Lance extensively before they invested so much draft capital to move up and take him where they did. Kyle had to have seen what he considered the requisite skills in Lance to run his offense, which is essentially the same as McDaniel's.

My good sir! We Yanks do not wear knickers.

Why then was Kyle Shanahan willing to trade so much to move up and take Lance unless he saw traits that indicated he was a fit for his offense?

I wonder if the Pats decide to keep him or Milton.

This situation legitimately fascinates the heck out of me.

They have FOUR QB.

Jacoby Brissett, who was presumably signed to be their starter, Drake Maye, the #3 overall pick, Joe Milton, who they also drafted this year, and Bailey Zappe, who started a few games for them last year.

Who do they designate for PS?

I legitimately wonder if they might cut Brissett. But then what? Do they try to sneak Zappe through to the practice squad? Do they just keep 3 QB on their 53?

I am of the opinion that he thought Lance might be athletic enough to change his offense for to fit Lance’s skill set. I don’t know.

But then…hey…Brock Purdy.

It's known that Shanny has a soft spot for Kiper's fluff jobs.
