Orlando NFL Sunday Ticket question

I just got NFL Ticket this morning. I can't wait!!

But if I understand/recall correctly, if the local team is blacked out locally, you can't get it on the Ticket either (unless you're tech savvy). But if you live in Orlando and you're forced to watch the Jags instead, you should be able to get it on the Ticket. That's the whole point, right!?!?

You DOG! I'm hoping to get Direct TV and the NFL ticket this year, but I have to get a job first. I can't go another season with either eating crappy food at Beef O'Bradys or not seeing a game when its on!

The Titans game didn't get shown because it was on a Saturday, though. No one but people in the Miami and Nashville markets saw that game live. Sunday Ticket showed in the next day at 1pm.

I remember that most of us non-fla fin-fans e-mailed Dan Patrick and he had the president of DirectTV on to explain why they weren't showing it live. Good times!!

Wow, I had no idea that was going on. Maybe they should move the franchise to Orlando :D You think the area could handle 3 NFL teams?

Oh please no. Honestly it would be an even more difficult situation. There are just too many Phin and Buc fans in the CFL area.

Yea in Orlando we can watch any game on NFL Ticket.

I believe if the local TV station was within 75 miles of where the game was being played it would then become an issue. I think those are their rules.

OK....so if it's blacked out on DirecTV it's because it's on one of our local stations, which means we get to watch it anyway right? I just want to be able to watch all the games this year :D

I suggest buying season tickets, because I doubt that with only 45,000 season tickets sold so far, that any games except New England and the Jets, and possibly Buffalo will be sold out.

If we see those 3 this year on Sunday Ticket we'll be lucky. :(

Get DirecTV, as it will be the best thing you ever did....NFL Sunday Ticket is "da bomb".

From my understanding if it doesn't sell out, it get's blacked out in the 75-100 mile radius of the game. Orlando won't be affected by that.

Hello all.....for those of you that live in the Orlando area and have the Sunday Ticket, did you get all the Dolphins games last year or were any blacked out?

All the games were on Direct TV, however, the Titans game (which was played on Saturday because of hurricane warnings) was played at 1pm on Sunday on tape delay (which I thought was stupid).

 We took over the show that day. He also got an NFL spokesperson on the phone. That was great. Dan Patrick is awesome.

Yeah man. I finally took the plunge and got it over with and got DirecTV/Tivo yesterday morning. I didn't care if my landlord approved or not. I just did it. It was great. My installer was a big Ricky fan from his Texas days.

The first thing I noticed was that, even on my old crappy TV.....the picture is SO much better. Straight digital baby.

Next on my list is a recliner. Then a new TV. I can't make money fast enough.

It's going to be so nice having every game and not having to leave the house ever again. Incidentally, I'd go to Beef's too.

:yeahthat:

I shoulda done this years ago.

The last straw was during the last hurricanes. I had no cable for two days. But I could hear my neighbor watching TV via satellite right after the rain stopped (which bothered me to no end)
