It is going to need to be....have to drop 35 a game just to compete
 
i'd say odds are damn good that albert will miss time this year...at least 2 games...he's been real close to some serious injuries of late...gotten lucky frankly

it was ugly up the middle last year for sure...dt they signed melton but i dont recall them signing a plugger run defender...on the edges i think they will have issues getting to the qb...one of those starties safeties is as bad as you will find anywhere in the league...and we already talked about the lb play...punch a baby ugly

Oh yeah...I still think that is why the team took Turner over a more ready "guard only" player...If Albert goes down they will need insurance to fill that spot...
 
I like Turner... but as a starting LT in the NFL year 1? man that sounds a bit grim

Thanks for posting, I wasn't counting the four games from last year, so he's missed 11 games in his career not 7 as I had stated.

How may more years does ol Tony have? Gonna need to stop somebody if they ever hope to make a run in the playoffs before he's gone.

On a 53 man roster you are going to have less then stellar depth...just the way things are...

a lot of his game is improvising in the pocket etc i'm sure some of those movement skills have eroded with that back injury which means he should be a more easy target to hit...but if that unit protects him like the talent level suggest it will i guess that will extend the shelf life...

like you said though the d looks like it's gonna be awful...they can have all the solid cornerback play they can get and even that unit is overrated but if they dont get to the qb and they are as soft up the middle as they were in 2013 they won't stop anyone...those wins will come in shoot outs where they get the last possession provided romo doesn't have brain farts
 
Why are all of a sudden obsessing over a backup LT?

Depth on the oline really doesn't exist for most teams.

Especially for a team that has to play the Eagles and attempt to stop Shady...

They will win games...8-8 with a top 10 offense is what will most likely happen....they are in the NFC east which is a crap shoot every week. If Lee does miss a lot of time....they are SOL as no one else is a playmaker on that defense now that Ware is gone...

I wouldnt say all the sudden. Think it's probably normal with how bad ours was last year. A little peace of mind is what the fuss is about.

yeah it's the eagles division...only thing that might help the opposition there is they may be a little more prepared for that tempo and how to expose that qb now that they've got a years tape on it...

anyways i have hijacked this thread enough talking cowpokes
