OTA #1 Updates

I do hope with Jordan bulking up we can finally put his "why not play Dion Jordan at olb" business to rest....

that kid is the x factor on this team...really is...i don't think anyone else could determine how we will fare on defense more than dion jordans impact either good or bad...

soft up the middle and on the edges but if he can make that leap as a pass rusher it will make up for it...

It is going to be important if he has learned how to use his strength, if he understands how to bend on the edge, and take advantage of the leverage he will create with his length and athleticism. Good pass rushing is an art form...

Having wake and Taylpr there is pretty reassuring, that he will progress.

Good to hear JT is there at practice. Hope Jordan is taking advantage and learning all these tricks from the master.

three things to look for that will tell me all i need to know...the get off of the snap as in how quickly he gets off the ball not once he starts his movement but from the actual snap to his first firing off...a outside inside redirect move or a counter and can he when he gains the edge with his inside shoulder chop clear and come free instead of getting ridden by like last season...i don't want to see some flailing inside arm swiping at the qb on the way by he's too gifted a athlete to not be able to clear open his hips and redirect to the qb

those 3 things we cooking with gas...i will settle for if need be 2 out of 3 in year 2...if i dont see any of it i will project another underwhelming pass rush impact on the edge against nfl tackles

I hate the tweets from Omar Kelly, he sounds so unprofessional, it's incredible how you can have a podium and sound like you're a 17 year old. Whether its positive or negative, he comes off so obnoxiously unprofessional that he loses all credibility.

Offense positives

thomas may start which means draft pick not wasted. Brenner in competition for Rg.

Clay will be even better this year.

Wallace and Landry playing multiple positions. Landry maybe your starting slot when season starts.

negatives

tannhill accuracy

turner needs to get stronger

s. smith still has trouble pass blocking.

Wallace was the last player to leave practice today.

Man I love this game! You have your good days and you have your bad days but as long as you continue to learn and grow everything will work out! My passion for this game has grown each day! I love the struggle I go through to make it to where I want to be. Never giving up until I reach my full potential, and even then there's room for improvement! I'm blessed to be in this position and able to learn from a superb db group, each bringing their unique skills to the table! The grind must go on! #finsup #Miami #Dolphins #ota
