then we add ricky this year and still Jay cant get it done, can u imagine if we took away the 1850 ricky had this year where our offense would have been?
60.7% completion rate, 3290 yards passing, 20TD's and an 80.3 rating. That's what he had without Ricky when he had a fumbling bumbling Lamar Smith last year.
In Jay's 6 games prior to his injury he had 112 comps/176 att for a 63.6% completion rating for 1289 yards for 215 yards a game. 12 TD's, 6 INT's and QB ratings of 126.6, 119.4, 83.3, 54.9, 108.6, 72.5 for an avg of 94.2. Overall he had a respectable 85.2.
By the way even after the injury. Jay's QB rating: 70.5, 98.0, 108.6 (against minny so you can all shove it for blaming Jay on that game) and 70.4.
So in 10 starts Jay had 4 games with a 100+ rating and one other that was really close with the 98 rating.
How did his QB rating (which by the way is something none of you guys can argue with as that is the official way to rate a QB overall) measure up with other QB's?
Drew Bledsoe. 86 rating. 6 total 100+ Qb rating days in 16 starts.
Drew Brees. 76.9 rating. 2 in 16 starts with one close to 100.
Aaron Brooks. 80.1 rating. 6 100+ ratings in 16 starts.
Daunte Culpepper. 75.3 rating. 4 100+ ratings in 16 games.
Brett Farve. 85.6 rating. 6 100+ ratings in 16 games.
Brian Griese. 85.6 rating. 5 100+ ratings in 14 games.
Brad Johnson. 92.9 rating. 3 100+ rating in 14 games. 2 close.
Peyton Manning. 88.8 rating. 3 100+ rating in 16 games. 1 close.
Donovan McNabb 86.0 rating. 3 100+ ratings in 10 games.
Steve McNair. 84 rating. 6 100+ ratings in 16 games. 1 close
This ones for Fin.
Jake Plummer. 65.7 rating. ONE 100+ rating in 16 games. 0 close and this boy has a good offensive line and a great WR in Boston.
Jay may look ugly doing it......but he's at least holding up his end. Qb ratings don't even factor in the rushing or his QB rating would be higher.
Fielder huggers huh. Well I guess you fit in with the "KB luvin" then.
