Our "geniuses" were wrong...again

but bellicheck is a genius. I live in panthers town near charlotte, nc. the panthers placed their 6th round pick RB who is out for the season on IR, somehow the way things work out is that he has to clear waivers. well the pats picked him up and all the pats fans online were praising BB for being a genius because he STOLE a RB that was out for the season RB for the panthers, pretty much meaning he got a free sixth round pick. it was pretty much a d--k move to begin with, but how does this continue to make him a genius in the sports world amongst his fans?

It's a smart move because when you cut down to 75 you can stash him away on IR until next season. I don't understand why it's a dick move, either. It's exactly what the Panthers were going to do, only he wasn't valuable enough for them to keep on their, what is it, 99 player roster at this point?

I never liked Slim Shady when he was coming out of Arkansas. Right or wrong.

Honestly so what. Everybody on here has been right and wrong about stuff. In the grand scheme of things being right about what we post on a message board is meaningless. It's like fantasy football which is probably like 75% luck (I may be under shooting here) and 25% skill. I run a league and hear so much complaining about the rules it's comical. Meanwhile I've won 3 league in a row 2 of which I didn't even look at the scoring systems before drafting a team. I think some guys actually believe being good at fantasy football is a reflection of their football knowledge ROFLMAO. With all the luck I've had over the last 2 seasons I've pretty much conceded I'm not winning this year and may just draft a bunch of Dolphins.

Has he even played in an actual regular season game? As far as I know, he is still an unknown quantity with a ton of upside due to his sitting behind Brady for 3 years. One bad preseason game does not ruin his career. Hell, the jury is still out in T-Hill and he's played 32 games.

Because Cassell (in Mallet's role previously) is a future HoF, right?

You said it. Belicheat is a genius; the media would not keep repeating something if it weren't true? :chuckle:

They have been trying to trade Mallet for a couple years now, I figured they started him last to showcase him yet again. If there were a market for Mallet, it looks like it just dried up

5-10 year fantasy football required some knowledge. Now ALL of the homework is already done for everyone. Strength of schedule, matchups, sleepers, etc. There's no skill left in it now whatsoever. None.

You don't have to wonder. He stinks and BB knows it. He's going to try and scam some desperate and gullible team to give up a draft pick.

 That seems to be the plan, I expect that also, and there will be an idiot GM that will pay a kings ransom for him just because he's coming from the Pats.

Funny how he bombs mere days after that analyst tried to hype him up to help get him traded for the pats. So sorry pats. Nobody is gonna give you a first rounder this time! .....hopefully.
