Rookie of the Year
I honestly don't see Vince Young coming out after this season. I'm from Austin and a die hard UT fan, and one thing i've always noticed is the star atheletes always want to play out their 4 years of eligibility and Vince doesnt seem to be any different. I have a good friend who I played football with in highschool that plays for the Longhorns (Neale Tweedie), and he always tells me Vince is there to stay. There's no doubt i'd love for us to draft him when he does come out. He gets a lot of negative pub on his passing skills (much like Vick), but anyone who is a UT fan knows ever since Roy, B.J Johnson, and Sloan Thomas left, the talent at WR became non existent last season. I believe the leading reciever had around 400 yds last season. Vince has ridiculous arm strength and much better touch (compared to Vick) and I believe he could develop into a explosive passer if he was placed in the right situation.
On a side note...barring injury, Vince is a lock to win the heisman. Truthfully, there's just no other player on any team in college football that makes a bigger impact, no offense to Reggie Bush.
