Our safeties

Im confident in tubucky jones but ive never watches tilman play. I beleive that Travis Daniels could get playing time at safety. Hes a pretty big boy. ANd if Jones doesnt work out just remember we can always play Thomas there lol jk.
 
our safteys have to be good in zones because we get alot of interceptions by having our corners on press coverage and our safteys deep.

we DID have corners who press covered. Surtain is gone which means to me 50% has left the building. We are going to see more zone IMO. Howard is a ? at press coverage to me and with Poole gone for the season i think its our weakest link this coming season.
 
Well we won't be picking up Taylor, that's for sure. He just got traded to the federal penitentiary for a 3rd rounder.
 
Tillman and T-Buck...with Bigby and Bell waiting in the wings...I think we are set in the defensive backfield...especially since we will have JT and Roth all over the opposing QB's!!! I smell a lot of picks for our defense!!! :)

Yeah, I think that Saban may have wanted Travis Daniels in the safety mix, but with Poole getting injured, he may have to work at the nickel or dime
CB spot. But Jones is maybe a level below Knight (not that Knight was anything special) and Tillman needs to have his "breakout" year....

i think Bell needs a breakout year as well.
 
Our SS is going to be TeBucky Jones, and our FS is still up in the air. Assuming we don't sign Lance Schulters or anyone else it's most likely going to be between Tillman, Bell, and Bigby. I'm thinking Tillman has the biggest lead as of now, but Bell has the advantage of being playing hear a year even though he got injured. I think Tillman has the lead right now could very well end up being our starting FS come the beginning of this season.

I would love to see Travis Daniels at the safety position but I don't think it's going to happen this year with Poole out for the season.

KB said that Williams has alot of talent and he said that Williams will suprise alot of people this year. I wish that KB could come and tell us more about Williams.
 
Did I miss something or was Tony Bua supposed to be on that list?

Hrmm. :hmmm: Yeah, he should be. As far as I know he's our 2nd string/3rd string SS as of now.
