Miller is okay but somehow he prompts fans to think he's extra special. I've followed him since he played at Killian. The evolution of opinion on him here is very similar to how it played out on Canes boards a few years ago. That's why I warned about Miller's weaknesses last offseason.
It's a little bit like Ronnie Brown because his yards per rush is always decent but he looks disappointing doing it, like he left yards out there. He's never trusted with a full load.
McCoy looked great at Pittsburgh. In the old days that type of ability would have translated to high first round. I concede I really miss those days, when running backs were gold. Every season in college football the first focus was on the freak running backs, knowing that they would be atop the draft with the ability to instantly transform a franchise. It's sad that so many younger fans didn't see those days and probably can't imagine it.
