for 2 reasons

1 - the obvious reason it keeps our slim hopes of winning the division alive

2 - we play the panthers next week. we dont want to play them coming off a loss, theyll be more hungry. if they beat the pats theyll be riding sky high and come into our place feeling overconfident and ****y, perfect scenario for them to lay an egg. similar to cincinnati a couple weeks ago, they came in winning 4 in a row or whatever and we were struggling and they played a bad game.

You're reaching. We have zero chance at the division. We would have to win out and really pray. All hope was lost when we lost to buffalo and Tampa, not to mention we should've beat Baltimore and New England.

if the pats lose tonite we still have a shot. its not gonna happen but the pats do play the broncos next week and we play them at home in a couple weeks. its not completely impossible we're 1 game behind them going into that game.

but its ok, i got laughed at last week when i said the playoffs were still right there for us, and lo and behold we're tied for the last wild card this week.

the losses to the Bills/Bucs/Pats are too much to overcome. Pats will win the division once again. BUT I do hope the Panthers win tonight and hopefully come into Miami all ****y so we can beat them. Fingers crossed that happens

I'm still holding out hope for the division crown. That's just me being a dolphin homer. I typically don't give up until the math says so. I get more enjoyment out of my football season this way.

Carolina is battling SF, and Chi for a wild card spot...If they lose tonight they will be desperate. It is a short week, so we will see what happens. If Mia can pull off the upset they are the favorite for the 6 seed

Carolina scares me and they should win tonight.

mark sanchez > geno smith. guess you're happy now.

I'm not happy, I know we'd be much better w/ Mark but I want geno to be better than mark was or better than he could have been. I just want to win, I don't care who is under C.

Shrugs....

I dont know why anyone is saying we have Zero chance at the division. Would anyone be shocked if the Pats lost to Both Carolina and Denver? I wouldnt be.

Yeh yeh.. I know we are an awful team and blah blah..what ever. But...its not like the Pats have a cake walk there.

Sounds good to me :-)

more importantly, i have the panthers in my pigskin pickem tonight and despise the patriots.
