Name a coach or a GM that is.
Yep, they got better IN SPITE of him.Nothing.
The same thing he did with the Jets and Dallas.
Nobody's perfect John. The best talent evaluators have made mistakes. What matters is this, where ever Parcells has been the team was built into a winner. That's all that matters.
Because he's just that bad of a dude.:DParcells was just a 1st year assistant w/ the Giants in 1979 anyway so why would he have been telling george Young who to draft?
Parcells has a proven track record for building winners. No he is not perfect, but I would be willing to bet that more of his decisions will be right then wrong on player decisions.
who would you like Cameron and randy again...no thanks.parcells wanted to draft cedric jones instead of phil simms in which george young went with simms. but i did see what he did with the pats first hand since im from new england.
No he doesn't, he has a proven track record for taking underachieving teams and getting them to achieve. he didn't build the Giants, he had a hand in building the Pats but lost final say for a reason, he didn't build the Jets, he helped build the Cowboys( a team that still doesn't have a playoff win since 1996). His successes have come as a coach not as a GM.
One thing I'm sure of is that he'll find you guys a QB. Maybe not this offseason, but by next you should have "the" guy in place. I'm sure Fin fans the world over will breath a collective sigh of relief once the nightmare that had been the QB situation since Marino retired is finally over.
