Pat White vs. Mike Vick (from Phinsider)

Not terribly interesting...It's posting stats that we've all known about since last season was over. No insight or arguments, just posting of stats.

There are QBs that put up better numbers than both that have done squat. Also, a stat that he doesn't put up is that Vick has actually had sucessin the NFL..As opposed to Pat White who isn't even signed yet.
 
Until White kills a dog he is a better person. I could careless how they compare I would be ashamed if the Dolphins had anything to do with Vic.

I change my mind as to whether or not I think Pat White will succeed almost every day. Given the players available at the time he was drafted, I think he's a worthy gamble - though, in hindsight, I would have been livid if we didn't get Smith.

Vick is obviously the more dominant athlete - faster, stronger, bigger arm. White, though, is more accurate and intelligent, and he's plenty quick. I'm almost certain White will be a better passer in the NFL than Vick. If we had Vick in his pre-dog-fighting prime, the Wild Cat would have been scary. If White can approach that, I'll be pleased.

It's not like he invented Baby Death Matches or even dog fighting :confused:
 
Vick is going to be such an great asset to his new team (assuming he gets on one, which i doubt), word is the Patriots are going to sign CLEO LEMON.
 
I invented Baby Death Matches I just choose not to us them. Does that make me a bad guy. I'm just sayin.
 
I was watching a college football program on ESPN and it was all about the state of West Virginia football. I've got to say they had all kinds of good things to say about Pat White, only QB to go 4-0 in bowl games, master of running the spread. I think they even considered him the best college football player in West Virginia history state wide, better than Moss or Pennington who were at Marshall. I don't follow college football, it's tough enough to give up 17 Sundays I couldn't give up Saturdays as well, I had no idea White was such an accomplished player. I was impressed by the things being said about him. We will see if he gets it in the NFL.
 
Well, I hope this informs alot of nay sayers about Pat White. A lot of people I talk to say that Pat cannot hold Vicks jock strap but they really don"t know how much of a special player he was in college....

also Vick made it to the championship game in college with his team

You cant just compare qb stats in college. White played in a spread offense that always makes the qb completion percentage look better. Alex Smith and John Beck completed about 70 percent in this offense. Harrell put up some of the best numbers ever. Vick's conference also was much better at the time than White's.

Numberwise White had a great college career and I would definately call him one of the best college players ever as I would Graham Harrel, Colt Brennan, and Cedric Benson.

Still dont hear anyone ashamed that we got JD Quinn but I guess we just waiting until he finally kills someone drunk driving.
