Pat White vs. Mike Vick (from Phinsider)

Pat White vs. Mike Vick.....
does Pat White have one of these in his backyard?
NFLVickHouse_468x338-1.jpg

No one can really say for sure because White hasn't played one snap in the NFL yet. But something tells me that if we were speaking about the dogs of Pat White vs. Mike Vick, I think Vick's dogs win. They have practice.

Vick has a LOT of Karma to Regain in Life. He has to prove that he can make better decision's as a leader of a football team. a QB Has to a Leader on the field and off the field. A leader leads By example.. Then your Team Mates belive in you: Like Our Team, I belive they would Jump of a short bridge if Tony ask'd them too.. lol

Not bad for somebody who will always play second fiddle to Mike conVick

Two years two losses two top top six finishes. He was mvp of the bowl win versus Clemson. Those two years match anything that White did over his career.
Sorry, but no. Pat's two major bowl wins trump anything Vick accomplished.

Obviously Vick was a great college player... I just felt I had to set the record straight that Vick's college resume is so much better than White's.

Well thats your opinion but VA Tech got screwed out of a BCS bowl his second year with one loss to a top team. One loss to the national champions one year and one loss to a team that should have played in the national championship is more impressive than losing to East Carolina, South Florida and so on.

I've been reading this whole thread and some things you post is the most insane things i've ever read in my life

Mike Vicks - 1 National Championship game

VS.

Pat Whites - 1 BCS Bowl Victory against a top 5 on fire team at the time in Oklahoma...MINUS...MINUS Steve Slaton. Which he was named MVP

1 BCS bowl Victory as a FRESHMAN which was by the way against heavily favored Georgia in the Georgia Dome...an away game is there ever was one.

1 Gator Bowl come from behind victory against GT, who had one of the best WR's we've saw in college in the past 15 years. Minus Steve Slaton again. MVP of that game as well.

1 Car care bowl victory where he was 26/32 for 332 yards and 3 touchdowns. This was a transition year for WVU. Where they were introducing a new type of offense. more pass happy. Minus Darius Reynaud a amazing WR for now plays for the Vikings. Minus Owen Schmitt who was drafted by the Seahawks and without Steve Slaton who was taken by the Texans. and a load of other players.

You keep bringing up ECU and USF. South Florida isint a bad team, we went down to Tampa and USF was ready. It didnt look like WVU was even in the game. YET, we beat them here in Morgantown this past year, I noticed you left that out. Same goes for ECU, we didnt play very well at all against them.

So them getting to a national title one year is more impressive than TWO BCS wins against heavily favored opponents. and two more bowl game wins too go along with it?

Get real kid

We're talking about what they accomplished, not what they didn't accomplish. Last I checked, "almost" winning is the same thing as losing.

A Sugar Bowl win and a Fiesta Bowl win > anything Vick has ever accomplished.

Well like I said u have an opinion but they lost to the national champions one season and the team that was number three overall the second year.

By your standards neither player accomplished anything. So the team that lost a championship game is lesser than a team that was not good enough to make the championship game.

most teams that lose play bad in those games and u call me insane lol

Say what you want. Of course in 4 years White did more but in two years Va Tech went to the national championship game and finished ranked 6th the next season losing only to the Miami Hurricanes. He lost two games in two friggin years to 2 great teams not medicore teams like East Carolina. West Virginia started last year as the big east favorite and was ranked in the top 10 preseason and barely finished in the top 25. To act like Vick in his two years did not accomplish as much as Pat White in any two years combined is pure silliness. This guy played two years and impressed the NFL enough to make him the number one pick overall while Pat White had trouble convincing the majority of the NFL he was a legit Qb prospect.

Va TEch was in the running for the national championship two years in a row with Vick at Qb. Dont let the hate of Vick cloud actual facts.

OK, whatever you say.

Losing is the new winning, apparently.

Well since its all about winning Vick lost 2 college games total.
U do realize that the loss was in the national championship game.
White never lead his team to a national championship game.
So u would rather your team win a lesser bowl than challenge for the national championship.
