I just don't get it. I know this thread doesn't belong in the main forum but I have to vent. Why is it that the Pats can do the same crap week after week and their opponent always looks surprised???? It drives me nuts. If you ever see mike vrabel in the game at the goal line why wouldn't you cover him. No one ever does. Do team even watch film before playing New England?? Sometimes when I watch them play it looks like they're the only team with a game plan. They like to use the element of surprise, you know do what you don't expect them to do. 8 straight running plays for example. Why does everybody who plays them just try the same old conventional crap the do against everyone else. Why doesn't anyone ever try to surprise the Pats. Sorry just venting, can't help it.

because everyone wants new england to win, so they let them do whatever they want!

or maybe new england is just outsmarting everyone

i hate the pats with all my heart.i hope we kik their @$$ this week with every1 healthy on their team and i hope ronnie brown has a 150 yd game and he gets 3 td's and he runs over bruschi goin out of bounds then he runs into brady and bradys done for a long time

If you're being sarcastic I understand, I know they're well coached but they make other teams look like they're not coached. Should the desparity be that big????? I bet they could do a flea flicker every week and no one would cover the WR, that would be wide open.

They have possibly the greatest coach of all time. Always prepared

AND I HATE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM PATRIOTS!

Sometimes it does look like no-one walks into the game with a plan against the pats

they are a good team but we always walk into the game prepared and we play them well....why dont other teams?

yes, i'm sure EVERY TEAM THEY PLAYED IS UNPREPARED TO FACE THE 3 OUT OF 4 DEFENDING SUPER BOWL CHAMPS

not every teams but a lot of teams look suprised at the things NE does every week

saban better have something good up his sleeve next week, id love to leave them with a sour taste in there mouths heading into the playoffs.

:shakeno: geez o man...the vrabel goaline play just worked...TD vrabel

because they have good solid players at every position on the perimeter... and they don't dance around or run lazy routes... they hit the hole hard, and fast, right where it's designed to be... their passing is all timing... and it's often flawless, as long as Brady has 3+ seconds to step into a throw... and even if not, he still often completes the pass... and they do it with a back-up center and a back-up left tackle... and six DBs on IR.... we should hope and pray to be that machine-like in the coming years...

perhaps dropping that linebacker back to cover Vrabel allows the easy Dillon off-tackle score... and teams aren't willing to do that, based on tendency...

at some point (maybe in 2025, when a lot of people have matured and look back on this team), people will acknowledge that the New England Patriots were the best coached, most talented team of their era... and arguably one of the best teams of all-time... if they still won't acknowledge it by then, they'll forever be baffled by what makes a successful NFL team...

I, for one, would HATE for a LB to catch a TD on me, so if I see a LB checking in as 'elligible' would call for a tough jam on him on the line... I remember vividly the Pats trying one of those trick playaction type plays to a lineman or a LB vs. the Colts and it went south fast with a lineman stuffing Vrabel on his butt on the line and a CB on a lineman going out... Result, Brady throws it away -- FG. For me, it's simple, it's an insult to a defense and I would be pissed if it happened once, it just happened twice... It must be just good play-design and good players...

Anyways... I guess I'm just venting too...

Another thing to vent about, the NFL should regulate the injury reporting one way or another, 'cause now, it just looks foolish to see all the teams being timely and having the Pats coaches hiding the camera and hiding the info all the time, the NFL should just put a rule one way or another, for the sake of the Fan.
