PressCoverage said:because they have good solid players at every position on the perimeter... and they don't dance around or run lazy routes... they hit the hole hard, and fast, right where it's designed to be... their passing is all timing... and it's often flawless, as long as Brady has 3+ seconds to step into a throw... and even if not, he still often completes the pass... and they do it with a back-up center and a back-up left tackle... and six DBs on IR.... we should hope and pray to be that machine-like in the coming years...
perhaps dropping that linebacker back to cover Vrabel allows the easy Dillon off-tackle score... and teams aren't willing to do that, based on tendency...
at some point (maybe in 2025, when a lot of people have matured and look back on this team), people will acknowledge that the New England Patriots were the best coached, most talented team of their era... and arguably one of the best teams of all-time... if they still won't acknowledge it by then, they'll forever be baffled by what makes a successful NFL team...
It never ceases to amaze me how people still keep underestimating the Pats and Tom Brady. If you listen to them you would be led to beleve that they have some kind of endless luck.
Isnt the object of the game to win championships and SBs.
If the Pats somehow get into the SB again this year after all the injuries and coaching changes they have had to endure do you think these same people will think its still luck.Probably.:shakeno:
