Patriots, Jets still better than us.

Whatever you need to tell yourself. Ok you're right, he'sthe greatest ever. Have a goid day.

The record book says he is, it ain't me. But you can deny all you want if it helps you sleep.

1 year w/o Brady, with Cassel, they STILL went 11-5, and what has Cassel done since he left?!?!?!

I hate the fkn guy...to no end...but I realize he is a great HC.

WAIT WHAT? The leagues best TE? Oh please, Jimmy Graham is the best and at this point I'd take Thomas, Vernon Davis over Gronk.

Right, that was when they still had the team that went 18-1. Dont get me wrong, im not saying he sucks. But this genius talk is bull****. Ill tell ya who geniuses are, Shula and Walsh, those guys are geniuses. Shula went to what, 6 SB? With what,4 er 5 different QB? Walshis directly responsible for what 5 SB? With what 2 different QB? That's genius. Those 2 built good to great teams with multiple QB.
Belichick took a team pretty much built by Parcells and blind lucked into Brady, that's not genius, its beung in the right place at the right time. Now if the Pats are still perennial contenders after Brady quits, thats when ill say he's a genius, but as of now i consider him a good coach who lucked into one of the all time great QB and rode the coat tail.

Who called him a genius? I believe I said "great," but keep changing the argument to fit your own issues.

Fact is he has owned this division since being the coach of the Patriots...with or w/o Brady...and when Brady goes, we'll have another QB to hate...I fully believe that.

And I won't argue he lucked into Brady...he sure as hell did...but Brady is NOT the whole team.

Great comeback :rolleyes2:

Your approval's worth about an ounce of nut sweat, IDGAF.

Pats most likely stomp us. There defense is going to be crazy this year, and as usual there offense is a step ahead of us. Just as we build our defense to Stop the pass, they go build themselves a power run game.

As for the jets, if we don't sweep them, than however better we got this year is minimal IMO.

The Patriots might beat us, but I doubt they stomp us. We split with them last year and the one we lost was after a second half meltdown by the Dolphins. Both teams are better this year, and I expect both matchups to be close. Probably another split.

Looks like another secondary blow for the Jets. Reportedly Dimitri Patterson quit the team.

Just reading this too. Jets forums are saying its no big deal and they think he will be back. (based on no facts, Of course )

Probably was bullied. I would get on horn with Jabari Greer rig away and see if he has rekindled interest in playing.
In reality the Patterson thing is probably a blessing since he is already injured never has been good for a full season for anybody.
Guy has really bad luck

I agree with you about the Pats but the Jets are a 500 team just like us, if they can keep from turning the ball over they will be fighting for a playoff spot....if our D can keep teams from running the ball at will and learn how to get off the field (more 3 and outs) we will be fighting for a playoff spot.....the Bills didn't look good this preseason but its just preseason....lets play the games and see what happens....

Starting Jets CB Dimitri Patterson has gone "AWOL," and did not show up for Friday's preseason game against the Giants.
The team has "no idea" why Patterson didn't show up against the Giants. He's reportedly fine physically. According to reporter Rich Cimini, Patterson's agent is "also in the dark." With fellow starter Dee Milliner dealing with a high-ankle sprain, the Jets are shockingly thin at cornerback. If Patterson is gone for good, the Jets will be looking at a crisis situation for Week 1. Reserves Kyle Wilson and Darrin Walls are not starting-quality corners. Aug 24 - 3:27 PM

I dunno if its bad luck as much as it is a complete unwillingness to play through Injuries.

In reality except for a few games with us last season, the consensus is Patterson is a not a starting quality corner either. That he was ahead of the other guys does not bode well for the jets
