Patriots release punter Walter

Good news for us, but remember he's also Vinatieri's holder.

Could be significant. (Ace Ventura....LACES OUT!!!! )

The Patriots released punter Ken Walter on Tuesday. The team made no further announcement regarding a replacement for the struggling punter. Check back with Patriots.com for further information.

Yes.....and he had some bad kicks in the game the other night against Tampa.

Pats are trying to copy our style of winning! Cut the punter..

Walter should have been cut 2 weeks ago. He's been horrible all year. I guess that shanked punt in the 4th quarter vs the Titans was the last straw.

Yup - that 18-yard bomb was all we needed to see.

All other things aside, his poor performance could've lost us the Titans and Texans games.

He was abysmal.

Miami- In a move that was termed "shocking" by know-it-all Mel Kiper Jr., the Miami Dolphins have signed recently released New England Patriots punter Ken Walter. Inside sources tell us that Walter was signed in the hopes that Walter could change the inevitable loss to New England. The source claimed "The NFL is a copycat league, and we figured 'why not try to do what the Buffalo Bills did earlier in the year and claim a Patriot let go foolishly' and we just snapped him up" No word yet on whether or not Walter is expected to play this weekend against New England...
