Patriots trade logan Mankins to Bucs, possible good news for our dline

You nailed it. Josh Kline (24 years old) has had an outstanding camp and Mankins cap hit was huge.

The move is not really surprising as the Pats also let go Lawyer Milloy and Richard Seymour coming off All-Pro seasons.

Wright will be used as a Hernandez clone.

Good move by the Pats.

You expecting Wright to be Hernandez on sept. 7th? Im not worried. lol

When was the last time the patsies won a championship? They lucked out and found one of the greatest QBs of all-time, but haven't won jack in a long time. BB continues to outsmart himself.

This has nothing to do with Gronk. It's about adding a talented move tight end who can line up everywhere. 50 something catches 571 yards and 5 TDs as an undrafted rookie catching the ball from Mike Glennon and Josh Freeman.. Brady will make this guy a star.

well, if he is playing any significant time on sept 7. I will bet you will see him screw up his route a couple times or be off timing.

Don't forget, there are many WR's who came to this offense highly touted, only to be made a fool cus they didn't understand it or got in the doghouse cus Brady wont wait for stupidity. This offense will go with Gronk and Edelman and the RB's. Amendola is their Hartline. But he has a tough time making it through a season as well. I predict Gronk will be out at least 4 games this year.

The only person not named Brady, that the fins need to worry about is Edelman. Oh, and their run/screen plays.

and IMO, Wright is a WR. He's not a blocker so you wont see him in line a whole lot.

31 years AFTER the Phins last won a Super Bowl.

Ahahahaha where did this patsies fan come from? It's amazing to know that all it takes is a light jab at BB to get them crawling out of the woodwork.

Ouch seriously though why would a fan of a top notch team hang out on our website to talk smack.

What's that smell wafting from the North East?

It's fear. The end is coming, quickly, and they know it.

If I were a pats fan I wouldn't waste my time on any other division message boards they have dominated the division for like 15 years and have three superbowls.

I'm extremely shocked at this trade. I imagined it would be a 2nd or 3rd, especially with Logan Mankins being one of the top G's in the league right now. Really confused at what the Patriots are doing.

IMO one of the pats ,(or maybe 2) Gs have shined enough to be playing up to the level as Mankins , we all know that BB isnt going to let a player like Mankins go unless there is/was a player that has stepped up and played as good as Mankins , because Brady is getting older and slower , and that they need to protect him even that much more , plus the reason for picking up the TE along with the 4th is because either Gronk isnt 100% and may have taken a set back or to have more depth behind Gronk , but either way we know they didnt let Mankins leave without somebody stepping up and playin his role as good or maybe a little better .

They have good depth on oline.
