Pats vs Fins pre-game discussion

if Kline starts I see alot of pressure. That man can not play. Wake is gonna own whoever he faces dude is beasting on another level

Miami consistently lost to NE over the past decade (and more) because they had a defense and no offense. Now, people are saying that Miami's new offense (for the record, I do not want the West Coast offense) will be more effective than in years past. However, it now appears that the defense has been slipping under Coyle. Like nerfball, I'm tired of the Dolphins being non-relevant. I demand a strong win tomorrow, or I hope that they end up with a high draft pick and no Philbin/Coyle.
 
Please explain^ how the defense has been "slipping under Coyle".

We had a GREAT pass defense last season and were excellent in the red zone and points against. We were a top 10 defense in most categories despite getting ZERO relief or help from the offense. We were ranked low against the run, which is so inflated by the fact that we couldn't score points so teams would just get a lead and run the ball down our throat. People who want to clue-in on our defense as being a problem don't understand that having a bottom 5 offense has a major effect on how your overall team plays.

To have a top 10 defense and a bottom 5 offense and then mention anything about the defense as being a PROBLEM is laughable. Get a clue!
 
Top 10 defense in most categories except the one that's been proven to be the most significant when it comes to teams in the playoffs, turnovers.

Ranked 14th in takeaways, you make it seem like we were bottom of the barrel at it (kind of like how our offense is bottom of the barrel at EVERYTHING). So you found something insignificant to bitch about for our defense, talk to me about why they were more the problem than our offense. I'm open to someone who can change my mind on this one.

Not vs Miami. In game #1, he put up 0's in any kind of QB pressure. Wake had 3 hurries in half a game.

In game #2, Jones had 1 sack, 1 hit, and 1 hurry. Wake had 1 sack, 5 hits, and 4 hurries.

Jones is good but, not in the same league with Wake. I'm looking for a MONSTER game from Wake on opening day.

I was talking about this preseason. Jones looks like he has taken his game up another notch.
 
We've proven we can play with the Pats...for a half. I think if we keep the Pats from stealing our signa...er, our play calling fresh, we can hold on to a lead, unlike last year.

Agree but, we shall see when it matters. He still has a long way to go to come up to what Wake does. JMO

yeah maybe, pass rush is overblown, both the Bills and You guys had more pressure and sacks. Bills won 6 games you guys 8

And yards. We were 21st in yards last year.
