People are going to be SURPRISED!

I think Henne knows he is on the cusp of being forgotten if he does not perform.
We all see his potential and we all know that he has had some trouble. It is not all his fault.
Lets be optimistic and hope he dose well. I will root for this team till the day i Die.
He is better than some QB'S we have had in the past. He knows what he has to do to get the respect
from the fans. Wait and see. The season is almost here. Monday will be a big game and I know that he will be ready.
He has a lot to prove. Inner determination is bigger than the **** talking and booing our QB.
That's who we have and we should see how he comes into the season.
I say GO Dolphins. Lets Go Kick Some ***. Time to put up or shut up.
I am looking forward to this season and cant wait. I feel personally that this team is close.
How close , I dont know. But we are better than last year.

Go Dolphins.................#1

See, now these are the kind of posts that are just asinine and serve no purpose other than to be a malcontent. I have no problem with being upset at the stagnancy of this franchise, but at least be in the realm of reality about it. They went 7-9 last year and that was with the big collapse at the end of the season. They are a better team this year almost by default. The schedule is tough, but a .500 record or better is not the longshot a lot of you make it out to be.

The real issue is that even if the team does finish over .500, it still won't likely be enough to top the Pats and/or Jets. It will also in theory leave them picking in the middle of round 1 next year, out of reach of the top QB's. Ergo, people are fearing more of the same we've all been subjected to since 1993.

does anyone blame philip rivers every year when they are .500 going into week 15? hardly.

I like this new strategy the regime's defenders are adopting. If the Dolphins don't win, it's not the regime's fault. Apparently it's the fault of negative fans, affecting their psyche through negative vibes! Job security!

Exactly.. perception is everything isn't? Orton is supposed to be lights out better than Henne and make us an instant playoff contender.. really? What has McNabb done lately... he's never own a Superbowl. we could go on and on about QBs in this league.. all about the same as Henne. While Dolphin fans are still clamoring for Marino.

There's no reason to think that Chad Henne can't emerge or improve under a new offensive coordinator and with more talent around him on offense. Not sure Miami brought in enough talent, but Reggie Bush adds the explosive element that this team needs. Maybe they get some big plays here and there from rookie Clyde Gates. The offensive line should be better. Henne doesn't need to be Peyton Manning, but if he can at least be like Trent Dilfer that wouldn't be bad.
