Perkins - Dolphins have bigger problems than Tannehill

My top 2:

1) Coaching
2) Tannehill
3) tackling

Please stop with blaming the Oline, those guys are doing there job. Tanny just folds in the pocket just like Henne used to...I see no former WR in Tanny at all.

Agreed.

Good to have you back SOS :brewskis:

here's us Dolphin fans watching the team this season.

Hopefully the ride ends happily .

Hahahaah. Perfect gif. Thats me seconds after the offense takes its first snap every week.

Aaa, isn't great trying to figure out what sucks the least of our team?

To me, with so many UNITS playing poorly, this is obviously a coaching issue. Do individual players have their issues? Of course. But as a whole these guys are not prepared and not focused. That is a direct reflection on the coaching staff. It is the coaching staff's job to scheme and get these players in a situation they can succeed, and they are failing miserably.

Allowing 9-16 3rd down conversion rate. Been the same problem going back to Wanny. The D was on the field for 33 minutes. That's one extra possession. Or if you want to get granular, 71 plays. In today's NFL, you need to be conditioned for at least 70 snaps on D a game. The D was "gassed" excuse is stupid.

Poor LBs, bad coaching/scheming/play calling, inconsistent QB play, inconsistent WR play, poor special teams, poor tackling, the list goes on. Another total team loss.

My problem is how we, and the rest of the NFL for that matter, get cute in certain short yardage situations when we are running the ball effectively. So what if they know you are going to run on 2nd and 3. If you know you can make it, do it. The QB has been a problem this year, so take the ball out of his hands a little more. I'm not saying try to throw less than 20 times, but try and run the ball at least 25 times.

The lack of balance has certainly been a problem. I'd like to see more around 30 pass attempts (it's been 41 thru 3 games) and 25 rush to help Tannehill and the WR's adjust to a new system.
