Pete Prisco: 7-9 for Dolphins

If Garrard stays healthy and plays the whole season, I predict 10-6 and a wildcard berth.

If Garrard starts off well, then tails off, Moore takes over at say mid season..I predict 8-8.

I think we could go 6-10 even with RT starting the whole season.

Just my .02

to each his own...i think tebow and sparano could be toxic in new york...i expect a lot of locker room infighting this season from the jets...but we'll see

Sounds about right. I was saying 8-8, maybe 9-7 if we get a few breaks along the way. At least Prisco is a far cry from that idiot Marvez.

I think that was completely overblown last year, I think that had more to do w/ a team falling short of expectations. There's too much talent, too much talent w/ winning experience to have another bad year. Remember, the Giants were the team w/ the LR issues in 2010 and early 2011. Winning cures all, if this team starts 1-3/1-4 then maybe I'll change my mind but I don't expect that to happen.

you guys aren't as good as Buf and Buf isn't as good as us so that's wishful thinking to have us all tied at 7-9.

Aren't as good as Buffalo? Miami IS better than Buffalo. Despite signing Mario Williams(whose numbers have been declining each year since 2007), they still have the same head coach and mediocre quarterback. The Dolphins blasted them twice last year, so forgive me in not buying into the offseason hype that the Bills are some amazing team or the logic they leaped over Miami. They ae certainly better on paper than last season, but a playoff team? No. Above .500, I have my doubts. 6-10 again or 7-9 seems to be right for them. Miami is probably more in the 8-8 range, MAYBE can reach 9-7 if they get real good QB play out of Moore, Garrard or Tannehill.

The Jets are a ticking time bomb, and most people see this. The locker room is on the verge of collapsing and Rex Ryan's failed guarantees each year appear to have finallty caught up to him. Revis might be headed to another holdout, the running game is average and the quarterbacks honestly are not very good no matter who starts between Sanchez and Tebow. The Jets are a team that can be in the thick of things with the Dolphins and Bills in the 7-9 to 9-7 range, but certainly would not surprise me at all if they finish 4-12 or 5-11. It is going to be an ugly year for the Jets imo.

Jets and Dolphins are both going to be around 5-11, 6-10. Both teams are miserable offensively and overrated defensively.

Can't wait to see fat Rex get canned.

:lol::lol2::lol2:(at least for the jets part)

We'd have to lose Sanchez, Mangold, Revis, harris, Pouha to even be close to 5-6 wins.

7 or 8 wins is what I see from this team. I suspect the Bills, Jets and Dolphins are separated by 1-2 games in the standings.

Agree w/ what you said about the Jets but even if the Fins get pretty good QB play (not that likely) they still have no one that can get open consistently or run the ball consistently. I Still have huge ??? about our interior o-line too.
Defensively, the Jets are better than us but not much. We're PRETTY GOOD on D but still can't cover a tight end or come up with a big stop in a low scoring game for ****... Plus we have no safeties.

Defense/ running game came back down to earth a little bit last year for the Jets and Sanchize showed his true colors. Laugh all you want now, he's a bum, and I will be vindicated this season.

our run game wasn't much better in 2010, our Ol was mediocre/bad last year. barring injury I don't think we'll see that again.

The D wasn't great last year but on paper it's much improved and much hungrier. last year rex handed over playcalling duties, this year he is taking them back. That alone will make us better along w/ the much improved DL, a slimmed down Bart Scott, the return of Bryan Thomas, upgrade at safety. I think this will be our best D since 2009.

Sanchez's true colors were shown in postseason '09 & '10. Last year the OL stunk, he had no deep threat, no run game for half the year, played hurt,... I am 100% confident Sanchez will have a bounce back year. he has more talent to work with this year and the OL should be better. Like most of the young, returning QBs last year he had a down year.

Over! Let the games begin!
