who's playing free safety for the jets anyways??? tell me its not laron landry...ask washington fans about him at free...and y bell he definitely can't man it either...you got 2 strong safeties if you guys don't get quick and i mean quick pressure teams are gonna eat up your safeties in coverage...

jim leonhard was underrated as a coverage player and ground coverer...to me you downgraded coverage wise at the position...

revis could hold out though all camp and come in week 1 and never miss a beat...guys just rediculously good...jets have to pay him...last time he held out he came back that first game and locked down half the field...

You're right but if Revis holds out he'll probably get hurt again like he did last time.

You are right, they brought him in to be a sideshow. They were jealous of the attention the Giants got for winnign the SB and thought acquring Tim tebow would make people forget they sucked to end 2011 while their Stadium mates won the SB.

rex can say what he wants, it's the actions that concern me and having tebow as the upman on punts and asking him to bulk up to 250 lbs tells me all I need to know about their plans for Tim tebow.

the problem with the jets in the past is they haven't been able to get quick pressure without blitzing...i don't see where that has been fixed as far as a real edge rush presence...and with those safeties you guys plan on rolling with if a qb has time you guys are gonna get owned down the field...whole gameplans will be about getting to your safeties in coverage...won't even look revis way...just find the safety matchup down the field and ATTACK

I expect Wilkerson to improve, I think coples will be a good player. Our DL should be able to generate a pass rush w/o blitzing for the first time since John Abarahm and Shaun Ellis were on the DL together. That frees up other guys to drop into coverage instead of blitzing all the time.

1. Neither you or me have any idea whether or not Bart Scott will be any more motivated than he was last year. Even if he is a little more motivated he's still another year older and won't be MUCH better than last year best case scenario.

2. The fact that Miami let Yeremiah go to a division rival is really telling of how useless he has become because, as you said, we are brutal at safety.

he was already back to his old self at mini camp. Does that translate to the season? I am expecting it will. I am not talking about his play at minicamp- that means nothing but he was back to talking and being active like he was in the past. last year he was not the same guy he was his first 2 seasons here.

Miami let him go, they didn't let him go to a div rival.

yeah i mean you miss camp i'm sure nagging things like hammys happen but that first game back i saw him he looked like he never skipped a beat...top notch footwork wore guys all over the field...looked a little winded at times but definitely the most impressive here i am fresh off nothing and i'm still the best corner in the game by a mile...

if jim leonhards healthy miami should look into him...that's a solid football player but injuries have derailed a great career...

You think we brought Favre in during August when the Giants had won the SB in february? it had nothing to do w/ constantly losing seasons b/c Chad was always hurt?

He is supposedly healthy now, just waiting for a team. I don't know if we have room for him but I'd love him back for excellent depth.

and what exactly is the benefit/cost to a quarterback going from roughly 240 lbs to 250 lbs.... im not sure how that leads you to any conclusion about "telling you everything you need to know about their intentions with tim"

Tebow being the upman on punts is the same reason Denver put him out wide as a receiver.... to be able to say "Mark (Kyle) is our starter... we are getting Tim on the field in every way we can...".... and then when the S'hiiit hits the fan... your decoy wide receiver/ upman on punts is your quarterback.

he played for FGs as a HC, being a HC and OC are very different. We will run more than last year but we will still pass more than we run.
