Lots of people wanted a rah rah coach. He's here now. The age old question we always ask here, will it make a difference?

The Fins play much better…with more energy and competitiveness, but still lose in a close one. It will look better, but still be a loss.

One cannot help, but root for Dan Campbell. I wish him the best and the team proves me wrong.

I don't think that Campbell can turn this team around just by working the players harder and trying to motivate them. Changes must be made on the field. On offense, the priority is to have Hickey sign someone/anyone to help the o-line. There has to be at least one unemployed Guard out there who is better than Miami's Guards. If Campbell sticks with this o-line or Hickey doesn't bring in help, then they will fail. On defense Campbell needs to have the schemes and playcalling changed and some players moved or benched if he wants to have a chance.
Well its starts with believing in yourself so its good to hear this at least. How much that makes up for talent in areas of the OL, LB and secondary we are about to find out. Watched the Pats for a few plays last evening and they kept bringing up the no name free agents and castoffs from the Browns that were making so many plays. So there is opportunity out there we just need the guys at the top to find it and develop it. When our castoffs are making plays and kicking our butts on the opposing teams that they went to you know its our coaching and mgt. Shula old offensive line coach would coach up a lot of these kind of players in the day we just need to find those types of coaches and quit blaming it all on the draft.

Campbell can help his cause by getting Dallas Thomas, Walt Aikens and Kelvin Sheppard off the field. He needs to get Turner, Linkenbach, Thomas, Paysinger, Bowman some looks. Keep McCain in the slot.

It's nice to see a HC with fire. Hopefully he has the smarts to go with it.. As of late, Philbin had the intelligence (well maybe not so well applied) and The Meatball had the fire. Since JJ, I don't believe we've had one that combined those two elements.. and a few had neither.
Take it he's more of the "Stop crying like a bitch" coach.
Just my cup of tea.

Lol talk talk talk. Sleeping giant...ok who on here wants to bet on the Dolphins vs patriots game lol. The Patriots are the real giant that we will never beat. I finally realized that and accepted it this year.

I really would love it if they finally found their head coach. It's the Miami Dolphins though so any talk is just talk. We'll see in these last 12 games what he can bring to the squad.. or even better what he can bring OUT of this squad.
Well this last week would have been a good time to bring some players in for tryouts and dont think were any so looks like were staying with what we have.

Yeah, I was going to comment on that earlier.
He is not a 'rah-rah' type of coach.
He is a tough, player's coach like Mike Ditka, Jack del Rio & Ron Rivera.
