I'm hearing that Carl Peterson really likes two of the Dolphins GM candidates: Ray Farmer and Jason Licht

So... yeah everybody can go back to bitching again

I like Ray Farmer. Licht has seemed to do a nice job in Arizona as well.

Random thought: how impressive was Licht's interview if Peterson has him right up there with Ray Farmer, aka his boy that he brought up into his very first front office job?

What happened to Xanders?

I'm not going to be mad if either of the two mentioned get the gif though. I have a feeling it will be Farmer from all the things we heard. I just wish he had more of a college player evaluation background

Licht is the best candidate they've interviewed.

What I particularly like is that Arizona had many of the same problems Miami does when he came in as director of pro personnel, and he quickly helped them plug some holes in free agency with good contracts. Not "Let's give Philip Wheeler a ****load of money" contracts.

My personal opinion? Nobody really knows what's going on. The other issue I see is that the bigger issue is Ross is the type of person who is most impressed by who he heard last. Which is why Peterson is really running the search.

I like all of the candidates they have interviewed. I'd be lying if I said I have a favorite, because none of us honestly know what each of the candidates was responsible for at their previous positions. Ross will have input from many sources, so hopefully he gets it right.

He's also had two stints with the Patriots and as a former linebacker, I'm sure it won't take him long to sort that particular problem out. He was with the Eagles when they made the Super Bowl a while back, too.

What will be funny is I will be Ray Farmer's biggest defender if he is picked and people rip the selection.
