Peyton contacted Dolphins and said move on Per Jeff Darlington Twitter

Well at least its official now. Now if they fail to get Flynn, this off season has been a complete disaster.

Puck Feyton Manning! He's a selfish bastard anyway.

I do think all of South Florida should shun his family.

I don't believe it, not till Peyton tells me himself!

Actually quite the opposite, he decided against coming here (with good reason) and paid us the courtesy of informing us before he made an official announcement. That's not selfish at all think about it for a few minutes....

If selfish is playing where you want to play, then ok...I personally see no obligation on his part to play for Miami.

Knowing Dolphin fans, the day Peyton Manning goes down to injury this board is gonna light up with high fives thanking the heavens we didn't sign him

On the flipside, if he leads one of those teams to the Super Bowl, Ireland and Ross are gonna get blasted. I love this place.

The time to move on was overdue, let Philbin get his boy and let the team get into draft mode.

Hey at least he gave us the heads up...no ill will towards the man, very classy move on his part. Now the front office can shift their attention elsewhere, preferably in Matt Flynn's direction.

It's a good thing Peyton did that. Awkwardly necessary. Ross/Ireland were too dense to realize that when the man can't be bothered to go to Davie from South Beach yet flies cross country for other teams, he just doesn't think that much of you.

Think we dodged a bullet. I wanted him at first but once Reggie Wayne resigned with Colts I didn't like the odds of Manning being an immediate impact and thus not worth the time. I'd rather try to find a more long term solution

once we traded marshall it was and wayne signed in indy, we didnt need peyton or anyone else to tell us we were out, it was obvious.

hes 37 years old, has a few years left, why would he want to come somewhere, where he has no wrs on offense, where he can go to arizona with fitz, tenn with britt, denver with thomas, etc.

he was prob thinking ''what the **** is this team doing trading their best offensive player in his prime for a bag of chips''.

Not that it would have been guaranteed he came here if marshall was still on the team, but when a player sees something like that, im sure its not exactly appealing to say the least.

I won't high five a injury and Manning winning a Superbowl has no bearing on me saying Ross/Ireland=Bozo/Cookie from the Bozo the clown show! But hey let's over pay for some scrub that isn't sn upgrade over Matt Moore!

wanted him here..but if true....i've moved on with the greatest of ease...the fo had to know this was coming...so lets see what their plan b was
