Peyton contacted Dolphins and said move on Per Jeff Darlington Twitter

Actually quite the opposite, he decided against coming here (with good reason) and paid us the courtesy of informing us before he made an official announcement. That's not selfish at all think about it for a few minutes....

I have thought about it. Dude has all the money in the world. You're telling me he doesn't really know where he wants to go, or didn't know before hand that he didn't want to play here? He is, by himself, holding up the free agency of several teams and the thus the futures of the people those teams may or may not sign depending on where he decides to go... It's also not helping the team he will eventually end up at.

If I recall correctly, a few years ago when he negotiated his giant contract with the Colts? He had no problem raping/extorting the team and town he "loves so much" for as much money as he could. Essentially assuring they had almost NOTHING to work with to sign new free agents or extend/rework contracts.

PM is all about the money, and all about PM. He says he doesn't like the media circus and all the attention, but that's a lie. He loves it. Being chased after by teams and the media, being the center of the sports world and having EVERY espn report start with a PM update, he's eating it up. It's a non-stop ego feeding buffet for him right now.

Obviously he thought himself too good to play for Miami all along. Yet, he's not too good to live in Miami, or use the Dolphins as negotiating leverage. And that pissed me off. I know it's business, but I still resent it.

once we traded marshall it was and wayne signed in indy, we didnt need peyton or anyone else to tell us we were out, it was obvious.

hes 37 years old, has a few years left, why would he want to come somewhere, where he has no wrs on offense, where he can go to arizona with fitz, tenn with britt, denver with thomas, etc.

he was prob thinking ''what the **** is this team doing trading their best offensive player in his prime for a bag of chips''.

Not that it would have been guaranteed he came here if marshall was still on the team, but when a player sees something like that, im sure its not exactly appealing to say the least.

Marshall is a head case and he would eventually done something else to get him suspended. We at least got some worth from him. In my opinion diva WRs are way overrated. A good QB can make the most average WR look good. By the way, our offense was actually pretty effective the last few weeks of the season and we have a better overall team than Denver.
