Peyton expects to receive medical clearance for 2012

If Manning's recovery was looking good, wouldn't Irsay be talking about trading the pick instead of "finding a franchise QB"?

I always look at what peyton says, not what anyone else says, cus ya know, any doctor is going to say well, this looks good, that looks good, ......how do you feel peyton?

I feel good. lets go!

well alllllllllllllllllllllllllrighty then!

Why would he when he can save millions by releasing him and drafting the best QB prospect in years for a hell of a lot cheaper with a lot more years left on him. The colts and the Dolphins are in completely different situations.

Mort said yesterday on NFL 32 that Manning should be back around 100% in late May.
"should be" ready. Thats the problem. What if he's not? Free agency is done. The draft is done. So do you gamble that Manning "should" be ready or do you go in a different direction? If its a healthy Peyton Manning its an easy decision. He's not, and may never be again. What do you do?

Fortune smiles on the bold! IMO you gamble on the chance Peyton is able to play at a high level this upcoming season! Git R dun Ireland.

Did ANYONE expect Peyton to say anything different? When its all said and done...it won't be his decision. It will be doctors who have the final say. Last thing I care to see is Peyton wheeled off after a blind side.

I really don't think he will be the Peyton, we all admire on the field.

The cost to sign him, will cost us FA's and some of our own depth. Is that a wise 'gamble'?

With his money, he can get a favorable opinion from a doctor.

I've been consistantly of the mind that Peyton will be playing in 2012.. Reading this gives me a good laugh, after reading 2 days of "Peytons done, moving on" threads.

Dude your awesome....so let's wait till May-June- or July to find out if he can still play and ignore Flynn or trading for RG3...boy I sure hope he can still play cause I don't want to risk not having a franchise QB next year...
