Peyton Manning - Interesting Counterpoint AGAINST signing him

Oh please, 2 defensive stops from being 8-8. we were 3 defensive stops away from being 11-5 but we earned our 8-8 record as you did your 6-10 record.

We have won pretty consistently in sanchez's 3 years, we are the only team to have played in 2 conf title games in those 3 years.

The game is about winning and Sanchez is a winner.

I agree completely with your first statement and a good team would have made those stops but an average and bad team doesn't. Thank you for validating my point completely.

As for the Jets first two seasons with Sanchez at QB, this board has beat that dead horse in to dog food. If you want a winner that constantly performs like an average to poor QB and continues to fall short every year, I will be the first to thank you, it makes my job as a Miami fan easier year in and year out.

Where have I said we weren't average? 8-8 screams average, we had plenty of chances to be a much better team but couldn't make more plays to win.

I want a winner, I don't care whether average fans perceive him as a bad QB, Sanchez was good in 2010 and helped us win 11 games and reach another title game. I KNOW this team can win w/ him under C.

Miami fans would kill to fall short the way the Jets did in '09 & '10

This my friend is a generalization and presumptive statement.

I would kill to fall short the way Pittsburgh or New England have the past few seasons but I would never wish that my beloved Dolphins follow the path an organization like the Jets.

You'd be doing cartwheels if your team played for the right to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

You're right if they did it in a manor similar to NE or Pitt.

so a fan of a team that hasn't been to a title game in 20 years and hasn't been close to one in 18 wouldn't enjoy a postseason w/ 2 road playoff wins(including beating a heated div rival on the road in one of the years) then playing for the right to go to the SB? I guess you must enjoy not having won a postseason game since 2000.

In the day's of a wide open NFL passing league, the Jets bring in Sparano to get conservative. LMFAO.

Years ago I argued with you about how the Jets would have to play to make Sanchez successful, that was run first to set the pass and play great D. Last season they geared up to pass to set the run and it failed.

A good QB isn't hindered by his offensive philosophies, if anything a good QB is held back by a conservative offense. That offensive line better eat there Wheaties this offseason because the success of the Jets rests on their back entirely.

This thread going into Jets territory is 100% your fault this time. And you're a mod too!

Reading comprehension is key. What I said is I would be happy if they did it in a manor similar to Pitt or NE and there are several reasons for my comment but the two biggest are 1) being I am tired of looking for a QB and despite your opinion I think Sanchez is hot steaming pile of garbage 2) I wouldn't want Rex as Miami's head coach, he lacks class and his mouth is bigger than his legacy ever will be.

Say what you will but having some class and shutting your fat ****ing pie hole sometimes is the difference between the media scrutiny of being a poor loser and losing with class. You will never hear Rex Rayn's name mentioned in the same category as Lombardi, Shula, Walsh etc...becasue of his fat ****ing pie hole.

No it's not. See posts 32 and 33. My post was 34.

Ahh the class nonsense again.

obviously we'd rather win the title games but you can't gette to a SB w/o getting to the title game first. no team had more chances than ours in the last 3 years.

Rex is off to a great start as a coach, I don't care if he is ever compared to the all time greats as long as he wins and brings us a championship.

Ahh the class nonsense, w/ what you have running the dolphins you really shouldn't bring up class.

you don't want sanchez and you don't want Rex, it's pretty obvious you don't want to win.
