manning shouldn't be calling others out. not when it's clear he overrides the coaching staff on certain calls. not when it's clear he has the power to change plays and protection schemes at the line. if you're having trouble blocking the blitz, you have to change something. peyton has shown that he tells the coaching staff what to do, so it's a good bet he told them he wanted to keep chucking it down the field. you have to change up your plan when it isn't working. peyton needs a coach he respects, and the bottom line is, i don't think he can respect anybody who is available. if he were an NBA player, this would be a bigger deal. it would be "insubordination" and a travesty and all that. he isn't an NBA player, so he's very well mannered and it's "out of character" for him to behave this way.
