why? it's not a list based on their opinion, like power rankings. it's a pure stats list, based on last season alone.
it is subjective stats and it is an awful list.

Uh OK? I posted relevant information about our QB that I thought people would be interested in. Because, this is, uhhhh a Dolphins forum?
PFT is unanimously recognized by all media outlets for their stats and information. nyJunk is just mad to see his most recent QB draft selection and starting QB at the bottom of the list.
And you are the "Rich Cotite" of finheaven
To you maybe. You don't build the reputation that site has with subjective analysis. You sound bitter...
I know my QB stunk most of last year, I also know that bottom of this list QB badly outplayed #7() in the biggest game of Ryan's career.
No one can respect a list like this. "experts" like to cite stats like these to make themselves appear more knowledgeable to their readers/listeners but this list is just awful. Pure comedy.

who is Rich Cotite?

yeah, I just broke my keyboard I am so bitteryou can believe anything you want. there isn't a knowledgeable person connected w/ the league that thinks Ryan Tannehill was the #7 QB last year and better than tom Brady(despite Ryan being a younger/more athletic Brady
)
I think you need to read how PFF does their stats and what this list even insinuates. No one is saying RT is better than Brady. They're saying that statistically, given certain circumstances and situations RT was more efficient than Brady. Which isn't that hard to believe, seeing that Brady had an all time bad start to last season and didn't snap out of it till the Steelers game.
And RT wasn't outplayed by your ****ty QB. He was outplayed by his own OLine and the Jets/Bills DLine. Let down consistently throughout the year. New record in sacks allowed? That's all time bad. You keep believing what you want.

Ryan definitely outplayed Brady the first half of the season in case you forgot how ****ty Brady was. This is a statistical analysis. It isn't subjective at all like your opinion about this list is. You are simply bitter because, your team is still in need of a QB and Miami isn't. Admit it. The truth will set you free. LOL
I know my QB was pretty good last year, minus a few games. Those few games does not negate what he did the other 14 games. And last i checked, QB's don't beat other qb's. They bead defenses. The whole, my qb beat your qb, or qb vs qb is just retarded. Same as how Brady has Peyton's number. F that. NE defense has Peyton's number.
I don't need to read it, I see the list. That is enough for me to laugh at it.
make all the OL excuses you want, Ryan had chances to get that team to postseason and failed. The only reason they were even in the race was b/c the D carried them most of the year.
Seattle's OL gave up a higher rate of sacks, somehow their QB stepped up and made plays.
Brady had no talent around him and led his team to the title game, Ryan had a much more talented team around him and couldn't even get to postseason.
1st half of season:
Brady 6-2
Ryan 4-4
O PPG:
NE 21.5
Mia 19.8
Brady 9 TDs
Ryan 11
Brady 6 INTs
Ryan 9
games w/ multiple INTs:
Brady zero
Ryan 3
add in the ridiculous difference in talent and that Brady led 3 late game comebacks(to 1 for Ryan) and Ryan wasn't anywhere near as good as Brady in stats or real life.

minus a few-

@NE

NYJ
yeah, minus a few![]()
oh yeah, seattles number 1 defense didn't carry them at all.![]()
and making, or missing the playoffs doesn't mean a qb is better or worse, as a whole. it's not like if tannehill made the playoffs, he's be shot up to best qb ever, same as if brady missed the playoffs, wouldn't mean he's the worst qb to ever play the game. You are just too extreme in your point of views, but alas, you are a jets fan.

yeah, let me just go ahead and pick and choose stats, rather than use all the stats relevant to the QB...oh, PFF already did that. Thanks for playing though.
Your D was damn good, how many games did they win? No one is saying Ryan had to win a SB but the point is they had an OL allowing more sacks per pass attempt. Your OL cost you games but so did your QB including the biggest one of the year where he wasn't touched all game.
He had a playoff caliber team around him, he didn't make enough plays in big moments or big games. if he did you would have made it.
AGAIN, I am not saying he won't be good but for anyone to say he was a top 10 QB this year they just have no clue what they are watching. he has potential to be a good QB, he's not there yet.
