PFF "Cumulative Quarterback Summary" for 2013

So then you have low expectations for what a "Franchise QB" should be (you know like Schaub and Alex Smith.. and buttfumble resembling either of them would be a quantum improvement) and you'd be wrong (again). Me? If I'm gonna declare that I wouldn't trade Tannehill (who's shown more natural ability than buttfumble) for 2 first round picks at a point where there's more justification to keep him than when you declared the same about buttfumble), or that he's also now our "franchise" QB; not that I hope he will become, then I'd look almost as foolish as you.

I see you've stopped declaring that buttfumble "led" the Yets to 2 postseasons.. and have even denied that you used that specific adverb. My reaction is LOL, cuz I knew that lie was egregious so I'll admit I did a fast search myself to confirm my suspicions. Lemme know when you want to see links to a few

I apologize to anyone reading these derailings that we've gone off course in demonstrating that someone who ever thought buttfumble was worth a first round trade, let alone more, thought that a QB who PFF using objective standards, even when giving the benefit of the doubt adjusting for the level of support he received from receivers and the OL was ever more one of the worst 15% in the league, (despite being labeled a "top 10" and was deemed a "Franchise QB" really should not be taken too seriously when it comes to opining opposing QBs

Or even more ridiculously, that buttfumble once outperformed Brady his first year back. :idk:

My expectations are about winning, I don't care about fantasy #s.

more justification? Ryan has done nothing in this league but you also were high on Henne, Sparano and everyone else associated w/ the dolphins b/c you are a homer.

making more stuff up, I have always said marked help us reach 2 title games.

post the links, not just to the posts themselves, to the threads so we can see context.

all you do is derail threads w/ your excuses and lies.

Brunell was better than marino at that point in time though obviously nowhere near him for his career and are you saying the gap is like marino's career to brunell's? Ryan has done nothing in this league, he's better than Geno as of now and may always be better but the one time he had a chance to do something he failed and was badly outplayed by a guy who supposedly sucks.

no, i'm not comparing anyone's career to anyone, as what brunell did, does not correlate to what marino did. it just does not matter, because marino couldn't stop what brunell was doing, because he doesn't play defense. let that sink is a little.....

ok, now, how is geno outplaying the dolphins defense, correlate to how tannehill played? I could understand if people were saying the jets defense sucks, but no one is saying that. you are basically saying something, that makes no sense, and means nothing, was my point.

ummm, I'll take 4 playoff wins and 2 title game apps over meaningless reg season games that had no bearing on the playoff race.

when we collapsed on 2011 Mark led our O to 15.5 PPG the last 2 weeks(including a game against eventual SB champs), the last 2 weeks this year Ryan led your O to 7 points TOTAL against 2 non playoff bound teams.

who are you?

I have been on Finheaven longer than you.

I always hear how badly Geno sucks, I was simply pointing out that terrible QB badly outplayed your "top 10"() QB in the biggest game of Ryan's career.

Something I found interesting is how well both McCown and Cutler graded out. I don't think anyone is taking McCown over Cutler, so that ball coach in Chi-town must know something about offense.

and you were homer- high on Sparano as running the 6th highest scoring Dallas offense as a part season defacto OC mostly from passing plays he had nothing to do with 3 years before for Dallas, you were and still are high on a QB that both PFF and Advanced NFL stats objectively depict as bottom of the barrel bad, and faulted Reggie Bush for observing it was "Karma" that Revis got injured after Rex put a bounty on him and the steroided up safety was openly celebrating when he went down. You also defended Woody, who ironically never worked a day in his life aside from managing the money manager who was managing the money that he inherited for standing with jerry Richardson in voting against ending the strike to get rid of the scrub refs; you also throw your defense under the bus for giving up 14 points to an inept offense in a losing effort instead of buttfumble for not scoring more than that. Oh why do I go on; you're a derailing troll here with a poor self image who actually gets paid for this **** or else he'd be doing it from home just as obsessively and a laughingstock/punching bag here and on TGG. But keep on keeping on (including complaining to the mods/admins again and again about the way you've been treated.. yes I know all about that).

Wow, you are even more of an inferiority-complex over-compensating sack of lying **** than I even thought. I see that since Westhoff went on record as saying that buttfumble never led them anywhere, you've been a busy beaver going in and deleting all your offending posts on TGG and then challenging members to find them. Here's a good example of that:

As to derailing threads and being homer, your body of work, especially inserting your uncredible and unwanted opinion on any positive or hopeful fins-centric threads in the main forum that has nothing to do with the jest, you better look in the mirror before accusing anyone else of derailing threads cuz it just smacks of your lack of self-awareness

Junc,

While I tend to agree with your overall assessment with Tannehill. There is no way in hell he was the 7th best qb last year. PFF does not take into account how one plays in the "clutch" or one's decisions on the little things that tend to matter a lot(When to run, when to not slide short, when to not run out of bounds trying to run out the clock etc), how many potential game ending throws he missed etc...
there is one large problem: How can you be taken seriously when talking about quarterbacks?
Still to this day, you think mark Sanchez is a good qb. When, everyone around the league knows he is not even starting qb caliber for any of the 32 teams. He lost his job to Geno freaking Smith. he is absolutely atrocious and couldn't hold Tannehill's average QB jock

I wasn't high on sparano, I said I would give him a chance. once again you make stuff up. YOU said he was a great HC, how soon we forget.

I don't care if mark himself says he sucks, I can evaluate w/ my eyes. I don't need some stats website to tell me how to think.

Bush was as classless as you are for celebrating Revis' injury.

who cares about scab refs?

sometimes it was Mark's fault, sometimes the D and others. Your biggest problem is reading.

your screenshot at TGG shows nothing

your other screenshots are w/o context. I asked you to post links, of course you can't do it. you can do it b/c you save all my posts but you won't, I wonder why?

such a sad man, has all my posts saved, cannot read at an adult level, does nothing but make excuses and posts lies.

I don't care what others think, I know Mark is a good QB that had ONE bad season when he had the worst skill players in the league. He didn't lose his job to Geno, he lost his job b/c he got hurt.

everyone around the league knows it yet there are rumblings about multiple teams wanting him and about a month back there was a quote from a coach who said he'd start for him right now coming off a year off w/ the injury.

Mark can play, I don't care how much talent you have you aren't winning 4 road playoff games and making back to back title games w/ poor QB play.

I love Vaark vs Junc...always good fun...

If that were the case, Sherman would still be here and we would've attempted to fix the situation strictly via FA and the Draft. Alas that is not the case. They needed to both change the offense and bring in a guy who has experience coaching up QB's ....... because Ryan needs it. So it's not "just about the O-line". That would be a severe oversimplification.
I am not saying that Tannehill is a finished product and I am not saying that Sherman's offense was the best I ever saw but every offense would struggle if the Oline can't block 4 defenders. And this is a pattern that was obvious through 16 games. If you can't block a four man pass rush there's no way your offense will perform consistently. That was the main reason we struggled offensively last season. Mike Sherman is partly responsible for this as he not only calls plays but he oversees the entire offense.
