PFF "Cumulative Quarterback Summary" for 2013

Besides perhaps Tom Brady, there isn't one quarterback in the AFC East I would rather over Ryan Tannehill.

The Patriots have currently the best quarterback in the division, the Dolphins have the next two best in Tannehill and Moore.

that's not saying much as NYJ and Buf both had rookies that struggled. based on the body of work so far Ryan is the obvious choice but that doesn't mean he has been good.

Lmao at Geno Smith. The guy is complete garbage and a joke to be playing in the NFL. He will be out of the league in a few years hahahaha.

and yet in the biggest game Miami has seen since 2008 he badly outplayed your QB and sent you packing for the offseason and back to 3rd place.

clamp on that if it makes you feel better. at the end of the day, neither team had much to cheer for after week 17.

It does make me feel better that my QB vastly improved the last qtr of the season. I still don't have a long term read on him but it felt much better watching him finally progress late in the year. Now he will have better weapons to throw to and experience so we'll see if he can take a nice step forward.

And yet he's still better than Buttfumble.

the posters make the site, not the team. the team has been one of the worst in football since this board has been around. what happened in the 70s means nothing to this board, the posters make the board not the team.

No Dolphins, No Finheaven

Geno playing better in one game, does not mean he is a better QB...since they never saw the field at the same time.

"Struggled" is a kind word for Geno Smith. He was laughably bad and was benched multiple times during the season.

Not sure how he badly outplayed Ryan Week 17 when he had no touchdown passes. He didn't throw an interception in that game, so I guess that is something to build on.

he didn't even throw for more yards than tannehill. Gee, sounds like Tannehill lost to the jets defense, and had nothing to do with how badly geno "beat tannehill". lmao

No he isn't. better than 2012 version but not better overall.

No Dolphins, No Finheaven

of course just like w/o the fans there wouldn't be a Miami Dolphins or NY Jets. we need each other and no matter how good or bad the teams are we always talk about them.

he was awful at times no doubt about it. He wasn't ready to start the season but was forced to due to the injury to Mark.

he made plays w/ his legs, he set up TDs through the air. No Tds is irrelevant, Ryan had 1 and was horrible. Most importantly Geno didn't turn it over but he made plays w/ his legs and through the air. There was more pressure on Ryan but it's not a good sign when he fails that badly in his first real playoff pressure game.

you know Peyton had almost 300 yds in the SB, you also know he was horrible, right?

You are a better fan than that to start bringing up meaningless #s. In the last 2 games of the year he led his O to 7 pts total against 2 non playoff bound teams. I don't care if he passed for 1,000 yds in those 2 games.

Geno made plays to win, Ryan also made plays to win but unfortunately for you guys he made those plays for the Jets.

actually, manning wasn't bad at all. his oline was getting dominated though...

and i know tannehill wasn't good the last two games. that has nothing to do with how geno smith "beat tannehill". lol

Scoreboard? Henne 3-1 vs Sanchez! Including sending him home as the game 16 exclamation mark in the Yets 2011 3 game collapse (us going into the game (5-10). See how that works?

I know I have been asking this question for 10 years now, but why is nyjunc even here???

Is he that lonely??

At least his buddy WV is here, they can be pals.

That's cute.

he was awful, stop looking at #s. he led his high powered O to 8 pts which came in garbage time where most of his positive #s came from. he was brutal, one of the worst SB performances of all time.

I didn't say geno beat Tannehill, I said he outplayed him. Geno played well, Ryan was terrible.

ummm, I'll take 4 playoff wins and 2 title game apps over meaningless reg season games that had no bearing on the playoff race.

when we collapsed on 2011 Mark led our O to 15.5 PPG the last 2 weeks(including a game against eventual SB champs), the last 2 weeks this year Ryan led your O to 7 points TOTAL against 2 non playoff bound teams.

Without Junc there would be no Finheaven.

who are you?

Hey Junc when are you going to accept that the Sanchez is a bad QB, he never won anything and he was a complete failure for a first round pick after trading up.
Please stop acting like a Chihuahua, and accept the truth.

Henne 3-1 vs Sanchez: 1 legitimate unassisted winning season out 4 and in a "what have you done for me lately?" league, 6 wins out of his last 19 games although PFF through their objective analyses, compensating adjustments, demonstrated that his OLs were no wheres as bad as some superfans have claimed, and in fact provided him with less pressure than the average despite him still performing at the league bottom-of-barrel level vs Henne 4-4 over his last 8 games for the abysmal Jags. Sanchez: with 4 years experience, still missing the open man while throwing into triple coverage.

Tannehill >>>> Henne >> Sanchez

Scoreboard!
