What a steal we got in Godchaux. He continues to be an interior force for the defensive line. Love his energy and uncanny ability to find the RB in traffic.

2018

ChauxDown! Dolphins’ Davon Godchaux eats crawfish, gator and... raccoon

“He’s an aggressive guy,” Dolphins coach Adam Gase said. “He’s a violent player. You kind of have to be when you play inside there. He’s a very coachable player, I know that. He wants to do it right and he wants to be the guy in that group that guys know he’s going to get it done when he’s in there.”

So here’s the real question. Does miami let Jordan Phillips walk next year and ride with rookie deals godchaux and Taylor and likely Spence back again on a one year deal?

Hmmm...

I’d say Phillips finds a minimum of $8 mil per year on the market.

So do you do it or let him walk.

Run stuffers rarely get deserved pub.

Miami stole both those dts last year on day 3.
And that is how teams are built. Finding starters in the later rounds that develop into above average players. Both Godchaux and Taylor are here for at least 3 more years, which includes 2018. Cheap pay for quality play!!!

Resign him ASAP to a team friendly deal.

So say you offered him $6 mil per. My guess is he’d want to test the market.

Depends on how he’s viewed around the league. But teams love betting on high level athletes with size and upside or at least perceived upside

If he can keep this up?

Man...

Chris Grier is knocking this GM thing out the park.
Before the season started I was so happy with the way Grier was going about his business. He's done an outstanding job in the late rounds and in UDFA. But then came word of Tankersleys' regression or lack of improvement. Harris's underwhelming lack of play making ability, in spite of his over the top work ethic and Mcmillan's slow adjustment or acclimation to the defense, after a year of recovery time from injury. I know there is still time for all three to make the neccessary adjustments to transcend into viable players, but time may be running out? McMillan seems to be the most likely to make his mark. Thank God for Taylor and Godchaux's improvements.

I like him too he seems to be around the ball a lot and pretty vicious tackler. Philips is really nice in the middle as well love to sign him long-term
