PFF- ReFo: Dolphins @ Raiders, Week 4

Before we get too excited just remember that the Raiders haven't won a game traveling to the east coast in a long time. Traveling to London was an advantage for us more so than them.

Good performances, but let's see a little consistency before we start thinking this is fully fixed yet. But yes, good performances worthy of praise.

According to experts here before the game the Dolphins screwed up by travelling the red eye to London and the Raiders did it the right way by getting there early.

So not sure we had the advantage there.

Raiders were on a two week road trip, man. They had a road game at New England last week and stayed there for like a week practicing, then they went to London right after that game. Those guys were away from their homes and families for 2 weeks, something I mentioned before the game. I'm not sure that worked in their favor. I travel on business across time zones and it really only takes you a couple of days to adjust to the time difference, but being out of town working for 2 weeks like that is brutal. You're not the same person at the end of it.

Lot of things you can criticize Joe Philbin for, but the Dolphins' travel plans this week were not one of 'em.

That was exactly my point but I was argued with that the Fins had screwed it up. Go figure.

But lacks strength and still has issues getting off blocks.

That is why like many have said, he is a year away, but you really can't teach instincts and awareness. Hopefully Tripp works very hard this off-season, and adds a bit more muscle, because he could be good for us.

I still have a lot of confidence in Misi, and believe he will succeed once he gets back in there, but Tripp is an up and coming player that looks very exciting to me.

:err:

Because the Fins also didn't travel 8 hours to London? 3 days before the game?

Raiders arrived in London a week before the game?

Not sure I get the logic.
Because the Dolphins do not have nearly as atrocious of a travel record. We looked better rested and cohesive. Make sense now?

Still was a start time that lined up with 1 pm EST. That is normal for an east coast team. Raiders travel very poorly and do poorly in 1 pm games.

right by that zone lb dropping...bullet...there was a bunch of impressive throws yesterday...and we got some instincts as far as knowing when to take off and when to stay in the pocket...like i said best complete game this qbs ever played...bar none...

Great throws. I noticed his focus being more intense this game, kinda like when he's in a 2 minute O, and does not think, just plays.
