Ryan Tannehill, QB:+3.0
Breakdown: Tannehill had some off-target passes during the game, but his performance was overwhelmingly positive. He completed seven of eight passes when under pressure, including his lone touchdown on a fade route to Mike Wallace. His receivers let him down at times with four dropped passes, including a perfectly thrown deep ball to Brian Hartline inside the 10-yard line with less than two minutes to play that could have helped stage a comeback. However, the incomplete passes seemed to always come at the wrong time as the Dolphins struggled to sustain drives for much of the game.

Signature Stats: Tannehill had an overall Accuracy Percentage of 76.1%, and was accurate on 100% of his passes when under pressure.

Have at it Finheaven!

:lol2:

PFF is def trying to troll Finheaven. Tannehill's play was "overwhelmingly positive"?? Anyone here feel overwhelmed about how well Tannehill played? Anyone who still takes PFF seriously needs to get a clue.

Eh, whatever.... I just want to win games that we need to win, which rarely ever happens. I dont care who is behind center, just play effective and win the f*****g game!

PFF also ranked Ryan Tannehill as the 7th best quarterback in 2013, and made the claim that Tom Brady is no longer a top 5 quarterback.........

So for everyone who circle jerks to PFF it's time to realize they don't know ****. The guy who runs the site never played a down of football and didn't watch a game till he was like 45.

OMG. What happened to just watching the games and seeing for oneself whether someone played well or not. I don't know if a +3 is "good" or not but IMO he played one of the worst, most ineffective games of his career.

And there are no former scouts, former coaches, ex-players doing the grading. Its a bunch of fans doing the grading. PFF is good for referencing quantifiable stats like snap counts and situational plays, but when they start evaluating players, its really no different than reading a fan board.

Don't shoot the messenger. Just thought I'd post their perspective. I don't agree with PFF on how they arrive at their rankings. Tannehill had a bad game and his receivers dropped some balls. I agree with royalshank, the eyeball test still works for me.

Who cares what he grades out at? Off never tells the whole story. End of the day, what's the scoreboard say? Moreno went down and the team needed someone to step up. Not a single player did.

Most laughable part of the PFF analysis was saying the Hartline drop inside 2 minutes would have started a potential comeback. Utterly laughable. I doubt they even watched the game. And they must not include negative points for standing in the pocket, holding the ball forever, and taking an unnecessary sack. If so, there is no way Tannehill's grade would have been positive.

You think Tannehill has a cousin working at PFF?

He must have something on them for them to keep giving him positive ratings.
