PFF - Ryan Tannehill Buffalo game

You think Tannehill has a cousin working at PFF?

He must have something on them for them to keep giving him positive ratings.
I don't know if he has any relatives working for PFF, but I am pretty sure he has a few on this site.

"overwhelmingly positive"? What game were they watching. Even Tannehill supporters can admit he had an atrocious game...

PFF also ranked Ryan Tannehill as the 7th best quarterback in 2013, and made the claim that Tom Brady is no longer a top 5 quarterback.........

So for everyone who circle jerks to PFF it's time to realize they don't know ****. The guy who runs the site never played a down of football and didn't watch a game till he was like 45.

Through the first two weeks at least Brady isn't even in the top half of the league.

I've been in the "let's wait and see" camp with Tanny. I've always liked the kid and the potential he seems to have. That said, he played a horrible game Sunday. Maybe his worst yet.

Tannehill needs to watch some Philip Rivers tape from this week. He showed some of the best pocket awareness I've ever seen.

Tannehill dropped back to pass 49 times, with 3 batted, leaving 46 throws. He completed 31, and 4 were dropped. He was accurate on 35 of 46 throws. That's fact, not anything subjective, as was his accuracy under pressure. Buff also had 19 combined total pressures on him. So, Individually, he had an overly positive grade.

This does NOT mean that his individual performance made for a good game for points, the team, and winning, as it certainly did not. However, PFF does not grade on that, just his individual performance.

:lol2:

PFF is def trying to troll Finheaven. Tannehill's play was "overwhelmingly positive"?? Anyone here feel overwhelmed about how well Tannehill played? Anyone who still takes PFF seriously needs to get a clue.

I'm not happy with the QB's play yesterday but it wasn't nearly as bad as people here are making it out to be.

He needed to be better, but as PFF points out, he had several catchable balls get flat dropped, and still completed over 60% of his passes. He didn't make any horrible head-scratching decisions, unless you count the garbage time desperation play with 20 seconds on the clock. Yes, he needs improvement, but step back from the damn ledge.

Is PFF's grade too generous? Yes. Way too generous. Is Finheaven acting like he's TERRIBLE way too harsh? Yes.

Yeah, I highly doubt they give a **** about this site.

I don't know much about PFF but I guess I just found out all I need to know. It's one thing to say a guy wasn't as bad as his stats, or was better than the final score, but "overwhelmingly positive" when even most of his completions weren't even good passes?

Bull****.

So, Individually, he had an overly positive grade.

Do you actually think he played well? Ryan Tannehill, all by himself, had a good game?

Yes, he needs improvement, but step back from the damn ledge.

People aren't upset that Tannehill is terrible QB, they are upset that he will never be a great QB. There's a big difference in those 2 statements.

Yeah, I highly doubt they give a **** about this site.

I was being facetious, Mr Perfect.

My issue with RT is he is never a difference maker. Step up and carry the team in a big spot once in awhile.
